Pixies and butterflies

A burst of pixie-dust;

Powdery glimmer of magic lost

Within a butterfly’s trail,

As slight as a breath

Can blow it away.

Wings of a butterfly,

Thinner than paper still;

Like pixies

That enchants the viewer’s eyes.

Colours many, but one we see.
