At age five, Harry's step dad got a promotion for work. Of course, he would take it. The only downside to the promotion, was that the family had to pack up everything they had, and move to a new town called Doncaster.
To Harry, this wasn't such a big deal, because since he hadn't even started preschool yet, he didn't have any friends to leave. In his five year old mind, it was exciting, due to the fact that he had practically nothing to loose.
And so the family decided to pack up everything, and leave their hometown, Cheshire. It certainly wouldn't be forgotten, though. Even though Harry only spent five years of his life there, the memories still remained.
When they all got to Doncaster, Harry was told that he would be starting preschool the following week. The little boy didn't know what to think. It could either be great, or it would be terrible. There was no inbetween..
The following week, at exactly 7:45 A.M. on a nice, Monday morning, Harry's mom, Anne, dropped him off in front of a quite large building. It wasn't scary to Him, though. Harry may have only been five, but he was certainly brave, at the least.
The moment Harry got out of his mum's car, he instantly regretted it. The kids there were giving him looks that weren't kind at all. Some of them even called him names, consisting of stupid, worthless, etc. All he wanted to do was curl up in a ball, and cry. But he couldn't, he had to be strong, or else, they'd keep calling him the bad names.
All of a sudden, Harry heard a voice that changed his life.
"Leave him alone!" Another little boy screamed at the mean, immature kids.
A small arm was soon draped around Harry's shoulder, making the green eyed boy feel somewhat better than before. The boy who wrapped his arm around Harry, had short, light hair, and pretty blue eyes. He was a bit shorter than Harry, but neither of them payed any mind to it.
The two boys introduced themselves, and the one with the pretty blue eyes was called Louis. Louis Tomlinson. They instantly became the best of friends, due to all of their similarities.
The icky comments toward Harry by the other kids stopped, and he was quite thankful for that. Louis was, too. Louis certainly woudn't have his best mate being called icky names.
The two were there for each other through everything, thick and thin, even if it could cause them harm. For example, when Louis got into his first fist fight in the third grade, Harry beat the other kid to a pulp, even if it costed him a bruised eye and a few small cuts. Harry got suspended for a week, but he didn't mind, as long as Louis was okay.
When Louis got his tonsels taken out at age twelve, Harry wouldn't leave his side. He would stay over Louis' every night, even if they both had school the next morning. Their mothers' didn't mind, either. Jay, Louis' mom, found a certain liking to the boy with the curly hair, as did Anne to Louis.
That year, when they were both twelve, the two pre teen boys made a pact to stay best friends forever, even if they move somewhere far away. They'd always have some sort of contact with each other, someone to talk to everyday.
So far, they've kept that promise.
Things stayed like that for the rest of primary school and middle school, and so far, highschool. The two are attatched at hip, and no one can do anything about it.
It's not like they don't have other friends, though, because they most definitely do. Both of the teenage boys just prefer each other over someone they've only known for a couple of months, or even years. So far, nothing has broke them apart.
They've both gone through hardships, obviously. Terrible breakups, drama, things like that. For example, Harry's most recent breakup with one of the seniors at their school. She said she loved him, but her words weren't true. Caroline only said those three words to get into Harry's pants, which she told him straight up. This only made him feel even worse. Louis comforted Harry, and is still trying to help him get through his recent heartbreak, if you'd even call it that.
They're aways there for each other, even when others aren't. They always have been, and it most likely always will be that way.

A/N: Okay, so, this is my very first Larry fanfiction, so feedback would be greatly appreciated, please! Oh, and for the sake of this story, we're all going to pretend that Louis and Harry are the same age. (:
