Adonis Flood believed that justice was something to make yourself. He didn't believe in Karma kicking someone's ass right back if they deserved it, and ever since Adonis promised himself he would be the one to bring justice, especially to his father's name after he had seen people in tracksuits killing him cold. Adonis was only nine when this happened.
Taking vengeance in his blood, Adonis didn't stop looking for the murderers, not caring about anything else, hoping he could feel peace afterwards. But peace was never an option, people wanted the young vengeful adult gone, with weapons in hand they would make it possible that Adonis Flood vanished.
What Adonis Flood didn't take in mind was that another vengeful "hero" would try and put a stop on this mafia group, and he didn't even imagine a former Avenger being related into all of this.
Maybe all of this was indeed Karma's way on biting him back or maybe it was Destiny trying to put a hold on the twenty-three year old and not mess with the bigger ones.
