You finally spoke, "I missed you.. I missed you so much Kook" you sobbed in his neck.

"I really regret running away... I'm so sorry I hurt you like that..." You pull away to look him in the eyes, your eyes red and a little swollen already.

"You have the full right to hate me" tears fall down your cheeks like a waterfall.

You felt disgusted of yourself at what you have done, it's been haunting you ever since.

Jungkook looks at your beautiful yet sad face, sorting your hair behind your ear and trying to wipe your tears with his thumb.

"Why did you run?" He asked with pain in his chest.

You sniffed your nose and took a deep breath trying to calm down.

"I got ..scared, you wanted me to work by your side and I felt like I wasn't ready for this type of responsibility.." you explained the best you could without breaking into tears again.

"Then why didn't you just talk to me..?" He frowns confused.

"I-..I couldn't look you in the eyes with confidence nor dignity...I was a coward simple as..." You explained sighing after,

"especially after finding the diamond ring in your jacket pocket" you tear up again, looking down in shame.

His eyes widen and mouth opens from the sudden information, "you knew" he breathes out in disbelief.

You just nod sniffling your nose.

"You knew I wanted to propose, why- why didn't you just tell me? Why didn't you simply say no instead of running away!?" His eyes glassy as he looks delicately into yours.

You hold his hand, your hand shaking,

"I- I don't know Kook... I was a coward that's all, and you know it, but I regret, I regret running away instead of explaining myself."

You let go of his hand, "the truth is I didn't deserve you, and after what I did I never will" you conclude everything and stand up from the bed, your head spinning from all the crying, you stumble about.

He grabs you by the wrist and pulls you back onto the bed. He gently grabs a hold of your face and kisses you with passion, tears in his eyes now.

You're completely confused but don't put up a fight. He pulls away slowly, both of you touching foreheads,

"I was waiting for the day you'd comeback to me, life was so empty, so miserable without you by my side" he opens up.

"We can figure this out just please don't leave me ever again, we don't need to marry if you don't want to but I want you y/n I want you to be the one I wake up next to in the mornings, I want you to be the person that motivates me to come home, the person I can get comfort from, someone I can call home" he says with so much emotion. His words softening you up, giving you a smile on your face.

"You still want me? After all I've done? Leaving you without a word, and trying to kill you? And you still want me to be your person?" You ask with a shakey voice.

"If you truly love someone, you will forgive them, especially that I knew you couldn't actually kill me" he smiles wiping your tears away again.

"And I love you with my whole heart, my body, and with every atom and molecule I'm made of" his words giving you a new perspective on yourself and life in general.

You give him a tired smile,

"I have never stopped loving you Kook, you are my first morning thought and my last thought before sleep" you say making him pull you into a big hug, you hug him back with as much love as him.

"Let's go sleep and start fresh from tomorrow?" He asks you as he pets your head,

you nod and answer him.
