As usual, War walked into the flower store after his classes. Khun Niran was packing a gift box, and War wondered who it was for. He paid his respects to the elder man.
"Uncle, what's with the gift?" He asked as he set his bag down behind the counter.
"Owh, don't you know what today is? It's my grandson's birthday!" He said, and War's eyes widened. Yin hadn't told him. He buried his face into his hands on the counter.
"Judging by the reaction, I would say that you didn't know." War nodded.
How was he going to make it up to his boyfriend? Yeah... they were officially a couple now.
After their first date night, Yin made sure that he woke War up for his class the next day and drove him to his dorm to get changed, before driving him to the university. Before War could get down the car, Yin grabbed his wrist pulling War closer to him.
"So... we're boyfriends, right?" The word 'boyfriends' made War blush. He didn't say anything. Instead, he leaned over to press his lips against Yin's in a gentle kiss.
"Boyfriends" War said with a wink as he pulled away to look into Yin's eyes.
War smiled, thinking of that day.
A few days later, he decided to surprise Yin that he was back early from work. He had used his keycard to get into Yin's penthouse. Yin had given him his keycard so that he could visit Peach whenever he liked. War was surprised at first, but he accepted it since he knew Yin never took 'No' for an answer. When he entered, he was surprised to hear two other people's voices coming from Yin's office. They were just talking about the business deals.
"So how's your sugar baby doing?" He heard a guy say, making him confused.
"Jedi! Will you shut the fuck up!" He could feel a bit of anger in Yin's tone.
"You can't stop getting on his nerves now, can you?" This time it was a woman's voice.
"Oh Kwan, don't keep taking his side. You were teasing him earlier!" The man Jedi spoke.
"And now I stopped," The woman said as War came to stand by the opened office door and peeped in. Yin immediately saw him, and a smile appeared on his face while the other two kept bickering.
"Oh fuck! We did not see you there." the man War assumed was Jedi said as he turned around to see War standing by the door.
War stood upright and walked towards them before holding out a hand to the other two, "It is nice to meet you, I am War-"
"Wanarat, yeah, Yin talks about you all the time." Jedi finished for War, grabbing his hand with a firm grip.
"Is this the one you've been sending money to- Shiaa!" Kwan got cut off by something hitting her in the arm harshly, it was Yin's fist.
War looked up at the older.
"Y-you?" War asked.
Is that why he was getting the unforeseen bonuses? The flowers?
"I will explain that tonight at dinner, baby" Yin said, looking back to his two friends,
"Here. It's all signed. Send it in immediately." He growled. They both nod, rushing out of the office.
"Baby?" Yin called out, looking at a flushed and confused War. When War didn't respond, he walked closer.
"Petal?"
"You? It's you who has been making me get bonuses at work? And those flowers with messages." War asked, ignoring the fact Yin said they would discuss it tonight at dinner.
