Abandonment

Mikayla's mom continued to see the man Victor. Mikayla and her siblings liked Victor. Victor was so sweet to them, what they loved most about him was he played basketball, football and even went skateboarding with them.

One day after school Mikayla and her siblings come home to an empty house. Everyone was wondering were their mom was. Mikayla's older sister Cheyanne stepped in and said " dont worry she probably just went out for a little she will be home soon."

Mikayla and Cheyanne thought they should help their siblings with their homework and get them showered up for bed. One by one the kids get i the shower, youngest to oldest just like they would do when their mom was home.

After all the kids are showered they put the kids in bed. Their younger sister Mariyaha asks " wheres mommy? She has to feed us and sing to me so i dont have bad dreams." Mikayla and Cheyanne wasnt sure where their mom was themselves. They got the kids out of bed and cooked them dinner. Mikayla and Cheyanne cooked the easiest thing they could find Mac && Cheese with Hot Dogs. Maybe it wasnt the best meal in the world but it helped them get through the night.

Finally they get the kids back in bed, but their younger sister wont sleep without someone signing to her. Mikayla and Cheyanne sing "Baby" by Justin Beiber. Mariyaha falls asleep. Mikayla and Cheyanne went down stairs and they had a conversation about were their mom could be. Mikayla sarcastically says " she cant be far she is seven months pregnant. The two sisters laugh. Then Cheyanne replied " she'll be back tomorrow. "

Everyone gets up at 6:00 am for school, and their mom was still no where to be found... Days go by she was a no show , then weeks start going by Cheyanne began to worry " what if something happened to her Mikayla" Cheyanne repeatedly says. The girls are to scared to call the cops or tell someone at school they think they might get taken away.

The two girls have another conversation Cheyanne says " What are we going to do?? What if she really is hurt?? Its been a month already we cant keep living like this " Mikayla replys with " im not sure what to do, we just have to be good, show the kids were not worried so they dont worry, Cheyanne we have to be strong for the kids."

Mikayla and Cheyanne stay up all night trying to get the house cleaned up in case their mom were to show. The next day after school can you guess who showed?? The kids scream " MOMMY" "MOMMY" WE MISSED YOU!!!!" But not Mikayla she stood there with an angry face. Mikayla angrily said " were have you been this past month??? " Mikayla's. Mom replied " dont worry about it. Its not your business, im here now aint i??" Mikayla yells " DO YOU THINK ITS OKAY TO LEAVE AN 11 AND 13 YEAR OLD HOME ALONE WATCHING THEIR SIBLINGS FOR A MONTH???" Mikayla's mom says " watch your mouth , who do you think your talking to???" Mikayla says " who are you to leave for a month and come back thinking everything is okay?"

Mikayla already knew what was coming, a whipping. Mikayla thiught it was worth it. Mikayla had to stick up for her and her siblings. Mikayla's mom continues to disappear before, after and during her pregnancy. Mikayla was so upset at her mom but her mom didnt seem to care.
