And Then There Were Five

Daeyeol and Sungyoon are a married couple and they have two sons, the older one is a five years old Jangjun, and the second one is a nine months old Donghyun. Daeyeol is the young CEO for a branch of his family business in the entertainment industry. In fact, Sungyoon is one of his agency's talents.

Sungyoon was a rising hot singer who was loved by many people. When he announced that he was going to be married, his fans initially made a ruckus because Sungyoon never revealed who his partner was, even though he never hid the fact that he already had a significant other. But when his partner was revealed to the public, his fans readily gave them their blessing because they couldn't deny how they are basically the dream couple of the century.

Daeyeol actually didn't prohibit his husband from continuing his singing career, but Sungyoon got pregnant right away after their marriage. After announcing his pregnancy, Sungyoon decided to take time off from his work for a while until Jangjun got a little bigger. But then he got pregnant with Donghyun. In the end, Sungyoon decided to take his time and focus on taking care of his family.

Right now Daeyeol is away overseas because of his job. He is supposed to stay for a month this time around, and he is already in his third week. Every night, Sungyoon will have a video call with Daeyeol before going to bed. And tonight is no exception.

"PAPA PAPA CAN YOU HEAR ME?? THIS IS JANGJUN!!"

"Ssshhhhh Jangjun, lower your voice or your brother will wake up." Sungyoon quickly puts his finger in front of his mouth.

"Upsie, sowwy Daddy" Jangjun puts his two tiny hands to cover his mouth and stares at Sungyoon with big, doe eyes.

"Ow my baby it is okay, now let's talk to Papa." Daeyeol chuckles witnessing his husband's interaction with their first son.

"Hey buddy, do you miss me?"

"Of course Papa, Jangjunie misses you loooooots" Jangjun makes an imaginary biiiig circle to show his Papa how much he misses him.

From their right side, Donghyun can be heard crying faintly.

"Oh I think Donghyun is awake. Hyung, I will bring Donghyun here. Jangjunie, talk with Papa yeah? Daddy will bring Donghyunie."

"Okay Daddy!"

Jangjun looks at the retreating Sungyoon and waits for a while after Sungyoon leaves to take Donghyun. After he is sure his Daddy can't hear his voice, Jangjun whispers frantically to his Papa.

"Papa Papa, Jangjunie have something to tell you but don't tell Daddy okay??"

"Oh what is it baby?" Daeyeol feels quite surprised because Jangjun loves his Daddy so much, he can't imagine Jangjun keeping a secret from Sungyoon.

"Jangjunie thinks Daddy is sick!! Every morning Daddy goes to toilet and then go bleeeerrrgggghhhh!" Jangjun imitating people puking animatedly while still trying to whisper.

"Daddy is puking every morning? Did he go to see a doctor?"

"Nooooo when Jangjunie say Jangjunie want to tell Papa that Daddy is sick, Daddy always tell Jangjunie not to tell Papa"

"Oh, why is that?" Daeyeol starts to feel worried, Sungyoon never told Daeyeol about him puking every morning.

"And then Jangjunie cry because Jangjunie don't want Daddy sick."

"Oh my baby."

"And then Daddy showed Jangjunie a white stick with two red lines. Daddy said he is not sick because the white sick have two red lines. But Jangjunie doesn't understand." Jangjun frowns cutely remembering the event.

Two red lines on a white stick?

At that moment Sungyoon came while carrying a sniffling Donghyun.

"Hey, what are you two talking about?" Sungyoon sits beside Jangjun and his face comes into the camera's view.

"Nothing! Jangjunie didn't tell Papa that Daddy is sick!" Jangjun answers while putting his two tiny hands in front of his mouth again.

Sungyoon looks surprised and he widens his eyes hearing what Jangjun said. Donghyun looks at the monitor and gurgles excitedly upon seeing his Papa's face.

"Sungyoon honey sweetie, do you have something to tell me?" Daeyeol lips start to stretch to a smile realizing what is potentially going on.

"Nothing bad honey, I promise!" Sungyoon's expression looked like a deer caught in the headlights and Daeyeol found it so endearing.

"Jangjun here told me that Daddy showed him a white stick with two red lines." Daeyeol wriggles his eyebrow playfully at his husband.

"Oh my God, okay okay! I think I am pregnant" Sungyoon huffs loudly. He hasn't gone to the doctor yet so he can't tell Daeyeol, in case the test pack is defective. But he has a plan in mind to surprise Daeyeol when he comes home. Thanks to his son's big mouth the plan is ruined now.

"Daddy daddy, you are pregnant? What is pregnant? You are not sick?" Jangjun tugs at his Daddy's shirt and asks him loudly.

"It means you will have a new sibling Jangjunie, Donghyunie will be a big brother." Daeyeol answers him instead.

"Donghyunie will be a big brother? But Jangjunie IS Donghyunie's big brother." Jangjun looked surprised at the revelation that his parents can't help but chuckle at him.

"Yeah Jangjunie, you and Donghyunie will have a new sibling, so Jangjun and Donghyun both will be a big brother! But Jangjun will be the biggest brother!" Sungyoon says.

"I am?? I will be the biggest brother? So cool!" Jangjun leaps from his seat and runs around, flapping his arm around the kitchen behind where Sungyoon sits and sets the laptop to video call Daeyeol.

"But are you okay Sungyoonie? Donghyun isn't even one year old yet." Daeyeol and Sungyoon actualy aren't really in a rush to have children, but they keep getting miracles and they both can't be happier.

"It is okay hyung, I would love to have each and every child with you. I am very healthy, you know." Daeyeol really wants to kiss Sungyoon right now, damn job.

"I am glad, but you have to promise me to go see a doctor as soon as possible, okay? When did you check the test pack? Why didn't you tell me?" Daeyeol is sure Sungyoon has his reason, but he can't help getting worried.

"I just checked three days ago, I already made an appointment for tomorrow, don't worry. I'm sorry, hyung. I just want to give you a surprise when you come back. But when you have Jangjun as your son, I guess you can't keep a secret." Sungyoon chuckles fondly while rocking Donghyun in his arms.

"But wow Sungyoon, I think we did it without protection just once before I went. We are so fertile, don't you think?" Daeyeol grins proudly at his husband.

"Well what do you expect Mr. Obvious? Should I remind you again that is exactly how Jangjun and Donghyun conceived? The second you didn't put on the goddamn condom you always knocked me up!" Sungyoon scowls playfully.

He doesn't realize that Jangjun has stopped running around and is now standing behind him.

"Daddy Daddy what is a condom??"

Oh Damn.
