*BOOM!!*
I jump up almost screaming. What was that? It's thundering like crazy outside. I've never hear anything like it. I turn to my right and take a look outside the window, only to find the crescent moon unbelievably huge. A sky so dark with I slightly hit of glowing indigo. More stars surrounding the ginormous moon than ever. It feels almost like a dream.
Something tells me to stay awake. I'm sleepy but I don't want to go to sleep. I stay sitting listening to the thundering sounds and raindrops fall heavily to the surface of the roof.
*BOOM!*
Again? I jump
*THUD!*
This time, I don't jump. It's silent. Everything. I can hear nothing. I grab the baseball bat I placed next to my bed the day before and brought it towards my chest. I clenched it tightly, not knowing what I was up against. My heart rate increases so much that it felt like it was about to burst but, my legs start moving. I softly head out my room, this time the house is filled with the moon's light. I head towards the unbreakable wooden door we have. Wait! I hear something. I can hear tumbling just outside of the house. I peak through the door's window. It's a man. He's on the floor.
I rush to open the door. Then, the door following that one. He sees me. His eyes are looking right through me. I can't help but help him up. The second I take a step forward, he gestures me with his hands to stop. He rise his body almost making his hight unbelievably grand.
His eyes. They tell me so much. But, what are they telling me?
I take a moment to observe anything I can. He's covered in dirt. His chest and biceps wet from the rain. Allowing the moonlight to highlight every single detail. A scar. On his left arm. No shoes either. Just who is this guy?
I balk at his first movement. He walks toward me without breaking eye contact. As much as I wanted to run off and find a corner to hide, i felt as though I was locked and unable to move. Finally he makes a stop. So close. I can feel him breathing. He is merely an inch away.
His eyes. They are really glowing yellow.
I feel dizzy. It's really hot. My heart is pounding like crazy. I hear him breath out for one last time.. a small pause..
"I've finally found you."
Fading away slowly, i hear something clink next to my feet. Darkness is coming over me.
What is this? I can feel someone holding me tightly. I've never felt these arms before. So strong. I've never felt so much safety and comfort in my life. I must.. be.. dreaming...
