Story of a first kiss.

Part 18: "I know".

Luka was returning from delivering newspapers when he saw Chat Noir looking very serious, with his hands resting on the side of the ship, looking up at the sky.
"Chat Noir..." Luka said surprised, looking both ways, seeing if there was any danger in sight. "What brings you here so early?"

Chat Noir felt surprised when Luka greeted him with a tight hug instead of a handshake.
"Are your mother and sister still asleep?" Chat asked.

"Juleka is with Rose. And Mom left when I left almost a couple of hours ago. Why do you ask?" Luka said.

Chat exhaled and put his hands on Luka's shoulders. "Luka... I want you to know that you are not alone. I'm here to help you. I will support you until the end. She couldn't come with me, but you also have the support of Ladybug."

Chat watched the astonished look on Luka's face. Chat was going to say something else, but was distracted by the sudden feeling of the ring in his hand heating up.

After looking quickly around him, Luka brought his face closer to Chat's.
"Adrien, what are you talking about?" Luka whispered.

"WHAT?!" Chat said louder than what he would have wanted. Releasing Luka's shoulders.

Chat coughed lightly and pretended to laugh. "Me? Adrien? You have one good imagination my friend."

Luka smiled and gave him a look that clearly told him he wasn't being fooled.
"When I was akumatized and I managed to get one of my feathers to touch you,... While you were transforming, you kissed me. Why did you do that?"

"I- I- I- Well, I... i-it's no secret! Remember that a few days before that I had wanted to kiss you and that was when you told me that you already had someone and... when I- I thought why not kiss you? As a farewell kiss. Yes. That's why I did that." Chat said stuttering.

"Wow. Not bad. But I know you are Adrien. Do not worry. I will not tell anyone." Luka said with a wink.

Chat wanted to say something, but his mouth only fell open in amazement. Luka gave him a quick kiss and smiled.

"How?" That was the only thing Chat managed say.

"I recognized you by the way you kiss me." Luka said blushing.

Chat smiled from ear to ear and hugged him.

"Ok. Now tell me..." Luka said when the hug was over. "Where does all this come from? That you support me and that I am not alone? Was it because of what I told you the other day when I was in a towel and you wouldn't stop looking at me? "

"You enjoy making me blush, don't you?" Chat said smiling and then exhaled to try to calm down. "Luka... I know."

"You know?" Luka asked with narrowed eyes.

"I ..." Chat said, waving his hands so that he mimicked a pair of wings. "...know."

Luka covered his mouth with his hands. Chat could see tears forming in his eyes.

"And... you don't mind? Are you okay with that?" Luka asked.

"You look beautiful with wings." Chat said smiling.

Luka covered his face with his hands and once again Chat hugged him.

"I was so afraid that you were going to reject me,... that you would think I am a monster." Luka said.

"No way." Chat said, not really understanding.

Luka ended the hug. Chat knew a question was coming. The question that he didn't want to answer.
"How did you know?" Luka asked.

Chat didn't want to lie, but he also didn't want to confess that he had been following him.
"What matters now is protecting yourself from Mayura." Chat said.

"Mayura?" Luka asked.

Chat took his hands, but Luka immediately let go. His right hand was holding his left one. Chat Noir was going to ask what was wrong when he noticed a mark on Luka's left hand. A mark as if it had been burned.

"But what...?" Chat was asking worriedly, with his hands over his head, when he noticed the mark quickly healing. He looked Luka straight in the eye. Luka's gaze was difficult to read. There was pain and confusion in his eyes. Several thoughts leapt into Chat's mind at once.

"You are still akumatized!!" Chat said scared.

Before Luka could react, Chat took Luka's bracelet and slipped it out of his hand. Luka turned to look around him scared, he tried to take the bracelet back, but Chat hid it behind his back. He was about to call his cataclysm when he saw Luka fall to the ground.
Chat knelt beside him not knowing what to do. Luka squirmed and he was suddenly enveloped in a strange blue energy. Chat quickly leaned back and fell.

Suddenly Luka's shirt looked very tight and a moment later Chat heard it ripping to pieces.
When it was over, Luka turned to see Chat Noir. He was surprised and hurt to see him covering his nose and mouth with both hands. His eyes wide open as he watched the large wings in Luka's back.
Luka looked down to the floor.

"I thought you said that..." Luka said, but stopped when he felt Chat Noir against his body.

Luka turned and saw Chat with his eyes closed, rubbing his face against one of his wings. He was still covering the lower part of his face. Luka smiled when he heard him purring.

"So... soft." Chat said.

After a couple of minutes Chat sneezed. Then came a second and a third sneeze. Chat pressed his hands tighter to his face and took a couple of steps away.

"Ah! I had forgotten! You are allergic to feathers! That's why..." Luka said.

"What? Did you think you had scared me with those beautiful wings? " Chat said.

Luka just looked away and smiled, feeling like a fool.

Chat walked to him and hugged him once more. It was when the hug ended that he noticed a pair of little horns sticking out of his boyfriend's hair. He ran a finger over them, feeling the texture and the grooves that seemed to be carved into the surface of it. He smiled and was about to kiss Luka but he saw him staring at something behind him in horror. Chat quickly turned around, expecting to see one of Hawk Moth's victims or Hawk Moth in person. Instead, he only saw a crow flying towards them.

Chat Noir felt the tension in Luka's arms. Chat was about to ask what was the matter when the crow cawed loudly. Suddenly Chat saw a brilliant flash of light.

"Quick! Fly away! I will distract him! " Chat heard someone say.

Chat Noir felt Luka's arms holding him tightly and the next thing he knew they were flying high in the sky.

"Luka... Are we really running from a crow?" Chat asked confused.

"Pray that she doesn't turn him into a monster." Luka replied, leaving Chat more confused.

"You are kidding, right?" Chat asked concerned.

The look Luka gave him in response did not reassure him.
