7th Grade Love Story

Chapter two: we meet again

That whole first week all Kait talked about was b-naturals!! All I could think about was that boy I met the first day.

I made a couple of new friends. There was Amanda, Sam, and just a while bunch of girls in class. We all talked about our crushes and summer even though we all just met.

The first two months flew by so fast and before I knew it, it was bnats auditions. I was so excited!! Except that out of no where my throat just decides its gonna get strep!

Well considering bnaturals is the advanced music group and my throat felt like it was on fire, I was gonna suck. I didn't talk that while week and all I drank was tea and water!

The first time that whole week I opened my mouth was at the audition I was freaking out! I drank so much water that I peed like 50 times!

Me and Kait started talking, well Kait talked I just sat there and listened. " So anyways Jenn was being a bitch and so I made friends with this new kid named Derek! He's from BHW!" I just nodded in response. Then I heard someone singing their audition. They sounded like and angel. I turned to look and I see blonde kid walking toward me and Kait. "You were really good" Kait said.

Now that I look at him he is really short but still taller than me. "Thanks" he just looked at me and my heart went faster. "Oh uh! Jess this is Derek the one I was talking about. Derek this is Jessie" I shook his hand an waved 'hi'. He looked at me questionably, I just pointed at kait and she explained. "Ahh! Your really serious about this stuff huh?" Before I could even shake my head yes Kait jumped in "ya she's a drama/mysic nerd. She is gonna audition for willy wonka" "oh really I'm doing stage crew for that show." Then the words I was dreading all day...

"Jessie P. your up." I stood up legs shaking and gave Kait a shaky smile. She put a thumb for good luck.

"I will be singing 'Valerie' by the Amy Whinehouse.

'Well sometimes I go out by myself

And I look across the water

And I think of all the things, what you're doing

And in my head I paint a picture

Since I've come on home,

Well my body's been a mess

And I've missed your ginger hair

And the way you like to dress

Won't you come on over

Stop making a fool out of me

Why don't you come on over, Valerie?

Valerie [x3]

Did you have to go to jail,

Put your house on up for sale, did you get a good lawyer?

I hope you didn't catch a tan,

I hope you find the right man who'll fix it for ya

Are you shopping anywhere,

Changed the color of your hair, are you busy?

And did you have to pay that fine

That you were dodging all the time, are you still dizzy?

Since I've come on home,

Well my body's been a mess

I took one last deep breath, I was so thankful my voice sounded okay. It wasn't my best but it was ok. " that was amazing! I didn't know u could do that Jessie" Kait yelled. "Your really good" Derek said! "Thank you, not as good as you though. Your voice is really go-" "Jessie come one we have to go eat dinner" my dad came to watch my audition and he had to leave as soon as I was done! Ugh will I ever get to talk to this boy!!!!
