All I felt was shame and regret as Makoa and I abruptly broke apart. I don't think I've ever sobered up quicker in my entire life. I felt like I wanted to cry I was so embarrassed. We sat in silence for a few seconds avoiding eye contact, before the sound of his phone chiming filled the void."That's the food, I'm gonna go downstairs to grab it. Be right back." Makoa mumbled before rising from the bed and walking out of the room.
Honestly, I'm not even hungry anymore and the one thing I know for sure is that I have no intentions of being in here when he returns. Once I heard the sound of the front door of the apartment closing, I got up as well trying to manage balancing myself on one foot. I whistled for Jagger who gleefully trotted over allowing me to grab on to his collar for assistance.
"This way boy," I nudged my head towards the bedroom door indicating that I'd like to leave the room. I wasn't even quite sure he was going to understand me since I wasn't speaking German and that's what he's accustomed to, but to my surprise the Doberman started heading towards the hallway moving slow enough for me to hobble alongside him.
Jagger kindly escorted me down the hallway to the guest bedroom that I sometimes reside in. I quickly shut the door behind us, locking it knowing that Makoa would be back soon and I surely wasn't ready to face him. I let out a long sigh finally collapsing on to the bed. The worst part was my ankle fucking hurt but my icepacks were in the kitchen and I had no way of retrieving them.
