It's been so long since I've been here in the Philippines.

I was busy with my career in Italy wherein my family runs an art gallery.

At first, my father were against by my decision to start an art gallery in this country.

However, I finally changed their minds and made a deal with them.

I believe that there are a lot of potential for the aspiring Filipino artists.

Art is not only for the 1st world countries. 

I want to provide a promising future for these aspiring artists and prove to them that they can achieve their dream. 

"Montero, have you already prepared the location for my meeting with Ms. Rose?"  Montero is my trusted assistant. When I was in Italy, he was already my assistant. 

"Yes sir. I also informed Ms. Rose the time and the location of the meeting." As always, Montero doing a good job.

"Okay good."

"Sir... Can I ask for a day-off for today?"  I forgot that Montero has a family here in the Philippines. 

"Sure, Montero."

"Thank you very much sir."

I can manage myself.

And besides, Montero left this country so he can work with me in Italy.

I met Montero when I visited the Philippines before.

He used to sell his art on the streets.

I saw that there's not much people who buys his paintings.

Despite of that, he still continues to sell it every day.

That made me fall in love with his passion and made him as my secretary.

Later at Moonbuck's café, I'm going to meet with Ms. Rose, a rookie artist that has a potential on this career.

I was planning to put her works on my art gallery and take care of it.

My art gallery is named "la farfalla".

Farfalla is the Italian word for butterfly.

The reason as to why the art gallery's name was inspired by a butterfly is that before they became a butterfly, they were a caterpillar.

A caterpillar doesn't look that beautiful at first.

But after undergoing through a process called metamorphosis.

Caterpillars were treated as pests first so farmers get rid of them.

But they needed to eat these leaves for their change.

Caterpillars are just like these rookie artists.

Most parents don't like their children to have an art-related career.

They think that there's no future or money on that.

These artists worked hard to prove their worth.

And later on, they became the most beautiful butterflies that ever existed.

Montero is the best example.

I saw his drastic growth.

And it reminded me of the process where caterpillars turn into these beautiful butterflies.
