Some Things Are Just Random

It's been about a week since I've seen the boys. We keep in contact though, constantly texting each other. We all have one nice big group chat that normally just causes banter but it's always fun. Other than that i do text JJ and Jaymi individually on occasions, as for George and Josh... They're a whole other story. George is constantly checking in on me and being the protective brother that he is, and for that I'm thankful. I think nowadays though I talk to him more than I do mom. But Josh on the other hand, that kid is something else! I love him to bits though. He's the best friend anyone could ever ask for! I mean yeah, he's ridiculously annoying at times but hey, who isn't. Josh is always looking out for me though, just like my brother, I like that about him. Whoever he ends up with will be one lucky girl!

I get to see this mental lot on Friday though, that's all I've been thinking about. Even now, while doing homework for university, I'm texting the boys in our group chat.

Pony Lover: ANNA WE MISS YOU

Joshua: Yeah babe when are you coming out? Friday right? YOU HAD BETTER BRING FOOD.

Me: MISS YOU TOO JJ!! And thanks a lot Josh. I'll make sure I bring you something.

Georgey: Anna I'm your brother! Shouldn't that mean that I get food before Josh does!?

Me: George. Bro, if I brought YOU food, I wouldn't be able to carry it all!

Jaymi: Don't worry about him love. Just bring me food. Josh doesn't matter. Plus I'm your best friend.

Pony Lover: You're all so violent!

Jaymi: SAYS THE BOY WHO JUST SMACKED ME FOR THAT LAST TEXT

Me: Oh goodness! haha you guys I've really got to finish this paper, but I'll be down in a few days, maybe we should just go out for food, yeah?

Joshua: Na babe I was just messing around! Its alright if you don't bring food!

Georgey: No it's not!! ANNA YOU BETTER BRING ME SOMETHING GOOD

Jaymi: Good luck on you're paper babe! See you friday!

Pony Lover: See you soon!

I guess I'm stuck bringing George a snack at least. I think I'll take him some Love Hearts, he loves giving those to fans during twitcams! I'll go pick them up tomorrow before Uni.

Just as I finish writing my paper I get a text. I look at the screen realizing it's Josh; "Hey babe, I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out sometime, maybe just the two of us? xx"

Not thinking too much of it I type him a reply; "Sure thing! :) Is something up? What, do you need a break from the other boys? ;)" I hit send before changing out of my clothes and getting ready for bed. Once I lay down, my phone dings again. "New Message from Joshua" I slide the arrow on the screen and open the text, "hahaha not entirely, I just thought maybe we could hang out, maybe go for some ice cream or something x" I think a few seconds before responding, "yeah I guess that sounds good, when though? Get back to me with times and stuff but I think we could work that out, but I've got to get some sleep now! It's getting late and I have class at 9AM tomorrow! Goodnight Josh :)"

The next morning I'm up by around 6AM because I've still got to get George some Love Hearts. I roll out of bed and check my phone real fast before heading towards the shower. "Two Unread Text Messages" Hmm, must be George I say to myself before stepping into the bathroom. I'll check them later.

As soon as I finish getting ready, which by the way didn't take long. I just put on a hoodie and some jogging bottoms. No need to get all dressed up, I'm only going to Uni. I walk out of my house, yelling a goodbye to Amy, my flatmate. Before beginning my walk to the store for George's snacks, I remember to check my texts, and I was right, one of them was from George. The other one was from Josh I wonder what he wants I think to myself opening his text first; "Joshua: If I know you as well as I think I do you aren't going to check your texts again tonight and you're already asleep, so... GOOD MORNING!!! I know you aren't coming out until tomorrow night, but I was wondering if maybe I could come to you tonight and we could have a movie night or something and then I could come back with you the day after..? would that be alright? let me know babe!! xx" before even bothering to respond I check George's message to see if he had anything to do with this. "Georgey: DON'T YOU DARE FORGET TO BRING ME SOMETHING TOMORROW. I'M COUNTING ON YOU. oh and by the way I hope you've had a great week so far! :) x" I reply to George first; "Oops, I totally forgot about getting you something! Guess you get nothing I'm sorry. ;)" But before responding to Josh I walk back into the house; "Hey, Amy!" I call up stairs to my closest friend other than the boys. I hear a loud thump and then see her peek her head out of the door frame ever so slightly as if trying to hide herself, "Anna I thought you left! You scared the crap out of me!"

"Sorry babe! But hey, Josh texted me, would it be alright if he stays over tonight?"

"Sure thing, I'll be at Anthony's place anyways."

"Oh yeah! I forgot his party was tonight!"

"That's alright," Amy replies laughing at my forgetfulness. "It's no big deal anyways, he has loads of them"

"Ain't that the truth! Hey, are you two together yet?" Those two have been the closest of friends since middle school! I'm surprised they're not married yet!

"Not yet, but I'm hoping he'll ask soon. I think he might do it tonight!" She exclaims excitement written all over her face.

"He had better!" This time she blushes a deep shade of pink and glances at the floor. "I'll leave you to daydream about him now, I've got to run to the store for George before class!"

"See you later! But hey! No picking on me and Anthony! You know one day you and Josh will be like this!"

"Will not! You know I don't even like him like that!" I have the last word in that conversation before closing the door and beginning my five minute walk to the grocery store. About two minutes into my walk I decide to call Josh, I figure this way we can get all the details arranged and such for whatever we plan on doing tonight. Scrolling through my contact list, I click on "Joshua" and hold the phone up to my ear. He picks up on the fourth ring, "Hey Ann! What's up?"

"Nothing much, just wanted to call and let you know that coming down tonight would be fine. Amy won't be home anyways, so I mean, we could even throw a party if we wanted to!" I hear him chuckle on the other end of the line

"Oh no babe! Nothing like that, I was thinking maybe go out for ice cream and then just head home and watch a movie, sound good?"

"Sounds great! What time?"

"I'll be around your place at five"

"Sweet! See you then!"

"Bye babe!"

Josh seems really excited about this, he has it all planned out and everything! I just wonder, why the sudden hang out session? Oh well, it's Josh, you never know what's going on in that head, I'd just rather not question it. Some things are just random.
