The date was September 15th, 2021. Let's see what's happening in Negi Root City today. Sophia Showlenn (Sonic Style) just arrived home after a long day of school. Her parents saw her.
Mrs. Showlenn: Hi there, birthday girl. How was your day?
Sonic Style: It was great! I got a Sonic-themed slice of birthday cake for lunch.
Mr. Showlenn: Wow. I wonder how the lunch ladies did that.
Sonic Style: Must be a secret. Hey, can I go chat with some friends on Zoom?
Mrs. Showlenn: Sure, sweetie. I'll call you when dinner is ready. Make sure you work on any homework you have. No video games.
Sonic Style: Yes, Mom.
She went upstairs to her room. Her bedroom is like a Sonic the Hedgehog paradise.
Sonic Style: Ahh, my home away from reality.
She went over to her computer and invited Ciel for a chat with her. He accepted.
Ciel: Hi, Sophia.
Sonic Style: Hi, Ciel. Guess what? I got a Sonic-themed birthday cake slice for lunch at school today!
Ciel: That's cool. I wonder how they did that?
Sonic Style: I don't know.
Ciel: Remember last year? When I told you that there's going to be a sequel to the live adaptation of the Sonic the Hedgehog movie?
Sonic Style: I do remember. I'm counting up the days until that happens.
Ciel: Good.
And so, Sophia and Ciel talked for a few more minutes until Sophia had to leave.
