"What did you get!!?" A highly excited jimin asked while jumping around.
"Wait jiminie- ah! I got a 469! What about you?" Yoongi raised his his eyebrows at jimin.
"I got a 490! Who do you think your soulmate is!?" Jimin asked, hope clearly evident in his tone but yoongi was oblivious.
You see, they live in a world where destined soulmates exist. And on a given date certain amount of people over the age of 16 get a number. That number is the amount of times your soulmate has said your name. And once you've found your soulmate the number will vanish off.
Also, both jimin and yoongi have massive crushes on each other but people get stubborn at times. And they are the stubbornest.
"I have a person in mind but I'm not sure jimin.. I'll see you later!" And with that being said yoongi left a blushing jimin behind.
Now that yoongi had said his name, his numbers had vanished but yoongi's numbers should also vanish for them to be soulmates.

"But taehyung, jimin has been my best friend for what? 6 months or something.. how can he say my name this many times!?" A confused yoongi tried reasoning to taehyung.
"Yoongi hyung , you're unbelievable!! You guys see each other every day, if you were not able to see him, you call him. And of course jimin always says, "hi yoongi hyung!" every time he sees you. What more reasons do you need?"
Taehyung let out a "I'm done with this shit" sigh.
"You're right! Let me go to jimin then! See ya!" And yoongi walked away.

"Hey jimin!" Yoongi waved.
A small baby pink blush crept up jimin's cheeks at the thought of yoongi being his soulmate. But there are chances of some other people saying his name, so he calmed himself down and waved back.
"Hi yoongi hyung!"
Yoongi smiled. His numbers had vanished. He was beyond happy to know that his crush, was his soulmate.
"Did you find your soulmate yet?" Yoongi asked.
"No, the dumbo thinks his soulmate is someone else." Jimin sassed.
"Then please forgive this dumbo because he now realised that you are his soulmate." Yoongi finally let it out.
Jimin didn't reply rather gave a wide eye smile towards yoongi.
That day was the happiest day of his life.
