Kayla watched in horror as Meredith's dead body slid against her leg.
"This is a nice Escalade, Liz, but seriously, go easy on the freakin breaks, will you?!"
"Fuck you bitch," Liz said from the driver's seat and sped down the dark forest clearing.
"We gotta call the cops!" Kayla wailed in distraught agony while the dead body started to slide down her lap.
"PLEASE!"
"Shut up, whore," Liz made another turn that made Noelle and Analyse jump.
"How many ecstasy pills did you give her at that party?!!" Kayla was hysterical now. "She's not breathing!"
"That's cuz she's dead, you moron, now calm down," Amber said softly.
Kayla sniffed her tears away.
"Where are we going?" she asked Analyse in a croaky whisper.
"We're going to find a place to dump the body."
The white Escalade screeched to a stop and the girls wrapped Meredith's body in the shabby quilt Liz made for her Home Ec finals.
"Careful, set her down gently," Analyse said. Then she looked at the other girls. "Now all of you find something sharp to puncture her lungs. We don't want her floating up Copper Creek."
Kayla started to cry again.
"Let's just call the cops, I don't give a shit if we-"
Suddenly there was laughter. It was coming from...
"You shoulda seen the look on your face," Meredith laughed. She was still on the ground with the quilt around her.
The other girls started laughing too.
"You guys are fucked up," Kayla shook her head and took a deep breath.
"I thought you were-"
"-dead?" Meredith laughed. Then Liz started mimicking Kayla's hysteria.
"Got it all on video," Noelle waved her iPhone in the air.
"You guys are horrible!" Kayla kicked the ground and hopped back onto the Escalade with her sisters as they drove back to their sorority party.

It's been a month now since Meredith's disappearance. Since she was pronounced officially dead after they found a body in the woods. Not sure if it's her body, but a good chance.
Kayla looked out her window and watched the rain drops fall as they raced each other.
Then she wiped away a single tear and got up to meet Dean and his dreaded father, the senator
