The guys kept walking until...
"Wait. I heard something" said Mike.
"What?" said Veruca.
"I didn't hear anything" said Violet.
"Mike... how strong is your hearing?" said Jeff.
"Well... since that painful light went through my ears, really strong" said Mike.
"So zat must be your gift" said Augustus.
"Super hearing!" said Jeff.
"Yeah! Now you'll be able to hear everything and we can get out clean" said Violet.
Mike heard a hollow scratching sound.
"Yow! What was that?" he said.
"Oh! I think that was me. I was scratching my head" said Murray.
Then another sound rang.
"Uh-oh! Something ripped" said Mike.
"Oh. Sorry, Mike. Just me peeling an orange" said Greg.
Then Mike heard another sound.
"Thunder?" he said.
"I don't see any storm clouds" said Veruca.
"Relax, guys. Just my tummy rumbling. I'm hungry" said Anthony.
"We're all hungry" said Violet.
"Now I get this whole hearing thing! This is fun!" said Mike.
"So if a beast is coming, Mike vill hear it coming und ve can run" said Augustus.
The team kept walking until they came to a huge boulder blocking their path.
"Are we in the right place?" said Greg.
Violet and Murray looked at the map.
"Yeah. It says to go straight and we're blocked" said Violet.
"Oh no. How on earth are we going to move this boulder and get past?" said Veruca.
"This looks like a job for Muscly Murray" said Murray.
"And Not-So-Muscly-But-Extremely-Windy Violet" said Violet.
Murray used his new super strength to push the boulder and Violet blew a strong gust of wind with her new strong breath.
Murray's strength and Violet's wind breath moved the boulder in less than a minute.
"Yes!" they said in unison.
"Well done, Murray and Violet" said Dankworth's voice.
"Great! Now we can keep going" said Anthony.
