All my life I was raised with a mother and father firgure making it impossible not to want it as much as I saw it. My dad drove trucks a lot when i was a younger girl up untill about the age of 13 for me. At this time we then moved into a house nearby things like schools, parks, and hospitals like any regular family you know!
Mind you im only 13 at the time so im pretty much cool with anything as longs my parents are okay with it. I am the only child and my parents and my relationship is unbreakable and just something I wouldn't trade for the world. My mom is a stay at home wife so time is all she has but she is now determined to be independent and get a job. While I was super happy for her this now means that I have to go to a public school now instead of being homeschooled on the road.
Again no problem , just a little nervous jitters about actually having to communicate with kids my own age, girls mostly because meeting the boys.... Well let's just say hand me my uniform and a backpack because ion wanna miss my bus. Of course I have family, but all my cousins on my mom side are messy and on my dad's side just are people i rather not spend my time with.

Fast forwarding to my first day of school. Oh yeah guess where they enrolled me too ? well you'll just have to guess for now. It was my first day of ninth grade so of course i slipped on my nikes with my uniform and ponytail so slick who-denni couldn't even see it. Aeropostale pants were the go to's for the butt of course & my polo shirt with only one button threaded through the loops because i just knew i was too cool to thread all three buttons up.
"Hurry Up" My ma said about 100 times that morning.
I finally came down stairs and off to this new start my parents promised that was going too just be the best. It was my first day so my ma decided to drive me and drop me off with a breakfast, how sweet right. Well i think she knew where she was taking me and felt bad so breakfast was a peace offering.
We pull up to a building (not a school) there were kids fighting at 7:32 am in the morning. For one I was confused , so i asked my ma why was she stopping assuming she was going to help break up the fight. Nonetheless my ma words were
"Baby this is our stop... "
She looked at me ... i looked at her with wrinkles covering my forehead.
She swallowed with a slight grin on her face fighting so hard not to starting laughing and said
"This is where me and your father met, St. Helena College and Career Academy.. Although it was called St. Helena Central High School back in my day."i- *blinks rapidly* i- just dont know ma was the last words i could get out before my principal came down all sassy high and mighty. When i tell yall she broke up the fight in stilettos and a pencil skirt the lady was scary.
"Hello, doll you must be Kaci our new exhange student?" she asked .
I replied with a simple yes and a side eye roll in the direction of my ma.
"Well i'm Mrs. Dangerfeild heavy on the mrs because i am married!" she stated . She then allowed my ma to leave and escorted me to something they call a morning announcement in something they call
an auditorium. Everything seemed so weird and different from the kitchen being the only place of learning from homeschool.I take my seat just in time before Mrs. Dangerfeild begins her long speech about bullying and first day crap that nobody paid attention too but definitely liked it better than the class.
"Hey, you must be new Whats your name?" said a boy approaching me as he sat right beside me.
i look up to the deep voice and see a dark skin that was probably about 6'0 , pretty teeth, a tight football jersey wrapped over his hoodie, with some black air force ones, and keys jungling hanging from his belt.
