Once upon a time in a world not too far away. There lived a fairy prince. And he was handsome. In fact, he was the handsomest man in all the land. But his gorgeous dragonfly wings were the most breathtaking in all the world. Yes, he was quite a sight, and all the people in the land thought so too. He could love anyone he wanted, but he loved only one. A human girl whose name was Hattie. She was a servant girl who worked in the castle. But he did not care if she was a servant or a queen, he just wanted her and loved to see her happy. So, one day he asked her to marry him. "Oh, may prince Ambrose you cannot be serious. This must be a lie." She spoke. "No. for you know we fairies cannot lie no matter how hard we try. So, you most know my words are true." The fairy prince said. "But my prince I am not royalty or part of the seelie or unseelie court. I am just a servant girl." "Who cares for all of that. All I care for is you. I love you, Hattie. Please say you will be mine." The fairy prince begged. For a long moment she did not answer him, and he grew to worry about her answer. But finally, she said, "Yes I will marry you." The fairy prince was so ecstatic that he picked her up and started to fly around the room saying "SHE SAID YES! SHE SAID YES! I WILL MARRY MY LOVE ON THIS DAY!" After a few minutes of this passed and he finally put his love down and they made their wedding vows to each other. For marriage is a promise and fairies always keep there promises. Once the promises where made they went to their families. The first ones they came upon where Hattie's mother and father. And once them told then the good news, they were over the moon happy for them and wished them all the luck in the world. Then they set off to tell the King and Queen. When they got to the King and Queen and told them the good news, the Queen could not have been more happy for her son. But the King on the other hand he was furious and called for the guards to take off Hattie's head. And the guards were about to, before the Queen started to beg for the girl's life, and instead to exile her, and to lock their son in a tower until he no longer loved her. The king agreed to this and sent the girl out. Then the King put his son in the tallest tower in the castle and to make sure he did not just fly away the King bound his wings together with iron rope. Witch stung him every time he moved. And everyday the King would go to his son and ask "Do you still love that girl?" And everyday his son replied with "I love her more than the day before, father. And I will never stop loving her." This went on for three months and three days until, the Queen could not take it anymore and hatched a plan to free her son. So, one night after the King fell asleep she went to her son and said this. "My dear son your love for her is causing you so much pain but still you love her. I am here to help you get back to your love." The Queen said as she unbound his wings stinging her hands in the process. "I took this from your father's treasury." She handed him a sword that could summon a pair of ametrine hounds to fight with the wielder of the sword. "This will help you on your adventure." "But mother why do I need this?" The fairy prince asked. "Because my dear boy. Your love has been captured by your fathers most outspoken followers. And they have made plans to killer her when the sun has risen. I am sorry this is all I know. You should go to the faun's to get more information." After hearing that the prince flew out the window to save his love. The first place he went was to the manor house of the drunken faun. And when he was drunk, he would tell you anything if only to get another drink. So, the fairy prince dressed as an old man and grabbed a bottle of the strongest wine he could find and set out to find the faun. When he found the faun was already drunk. And was being escorted to his rooms before he could spill all kinds of secrets. But fortunately, the fairy prince heard the faun call for another bottle of wine. So, hearing this the fairy prince went up to the faun's rooms to give him the bottle he asked for. But unfortunately, the guards stopped him at the door. "What business do you have with our lord old man." One of the guards asked. "I heard the lord ask for another bottle of wine. And I just want to give it to him." Said the fairy prince in his best old man voice. "Oh, do you now old man? And we are supposed to just let you in. And possibly hurt the lord." Asked the other guard. "If you don't believe me not to hurt him then I will make you a promise. I will not cause harm to the lord." With that he was let into the faun's rooms. There he saw the faun on the floor singing a song in his drunken stupor. "Oh I love her but she does not love me, so I took her sister but she was stupider then me..." The fairy prince took off his disguise and walked over to the faun and put the sword to his throat. "Ooooh but her mother-" The faun started before seeing the sword at his throat. He was about to scream for the guards but saw the bottle of wine and stopped. "So... who are you, and can I have that bottle?" The faun said swaying back and forth. "I will give you the bottle if you give me the information I want." The fairy prince said with a scowl. At that and the promise of the wine he sang like a songbird. The fairy prince had all he needed now and left to go to the elven lord of the unseelie court. But it would not be that easy. He would have to go through four of his best of the best the unseelie's knights. And each one is more formidable then the last. But that did not sway him from his quest. So he set off. On the way there the fairy prince came across a woman with ram horns on her head and a lion's tail lashing from side to side behind her. She had deep violet eyes and raven black hair. And her skin was the color of chocolate. "Good eve my prince." The women said. "Good eve." The prince replied. "What are you doing outside of your safe castle?" The women said cocking her head to one side. The prince did not have time to talk to her at this moment and did not like how she was talking to him. So he just ignored her and pushed past. "Are you here to get your wife?" After the women said that the fairy prince heard two short swords get unsheathed. He barely blocked her first blow, getting knocked into a bush. "Oh my dear prince you should've stayed in your safe castle." She pulled the prince out of the bush by his leg and tried to break it. He kicked at her hand forcing her to let him go and getting to his feet, pointing his sword at her, summoning the ametrine hounds to his side. The women just smiled at this. "I'm sorry my prince. That will not stop me." At that the fairy prince flew up above her, as one of the hounds ran to one side of her and the other ran directly at her. The hound that went to her side bit at her hand forcing her to drop one of her weapons, the one that went to her front bit at her calf forcing her in place. The fairy prince swung his sword back and flew down at her slicing from her right shoulder to her left hip. Even before her body hit the ground the fairy prince dismissed the ametrine hounds and started back on his journey. The next knight he came across was not wearing any armor, like the first. But instead of having two weapons he had a rather pretty sword. It seamed to be made up entirely of, Opal. The fairy prince got closer and got ready to fight. The fairy prince was hoping to sneak up behind him, but a twig gave him away. The second knight whipped around and pointed the tip of his sword at the fairy prince. Now that he was this close to the knight, he saw how pretty he was. He was at least a foot taller than him, had long sandy blonde hair that was tied up, and green skin with violet eyes. With a pair of wings on his back. "My love-struck prince. You're finally here." The knight said smirking. "Now you know I cannot let you go by and save your love." The knight said. "I know that is why I am going to kill you and all of your friends." The fairy prince said with a growl. The knight only laughed at that and flew up into the trees. The fairy prince followed suit. They flew over and under branches, trying to land blows on each other, but either missing or getting blocked by the other or by a tree branch. Until the knight stopped abruptly on a branch. "Shall we stop this little game of tag and start the fight?" The knight asked smirking. "I can't wait to chop off your pretty little head." Said the fairy prince landing on the same branch. "You think my head is pretty?" The knight asked. The fairy prince lunged at the knight swinging his sword. But the knight jumped back, shaking the branch in the process. The fairy prince lunged at the knight again but this time the knight blocked the blow. Back and forth trading blows, dodging, and blocking each other. Occasionally landing a cut and moving up and down the branch. Until the knight lost his footing just for a second, it was just a second but that was all it took. The fairy prince took the chance and swung his sword and landed the blow in the knight's arm. Sending him off the branch with a howl. The fairy prince followed the knight and landed next to him, kicking the knight's sword to the side, The knight looked up at him and with a dying grin said. "You did say, you would like to take off my head." And with that the fairy prince did. The knights head came off so easily he might as will have cut butter with a hot knife. The fairy prince picked up the knight's Opal sword and strapped it to his back and went off to the next to last knight. On his way to the elven lord's manor house, he came across an old woman. "My king." The old women said with a curtsy. "I am no king." The fairy prince said raising one eyebrow. The old women just smirked at that. "Could you perhaps be going to save the Queen?" The old women said going into her bag. "You will need this." The old women handed the fairy prince a red glass bottle with some liquid in it. "This is for when you need it the most. I suggest not using it on the scratches you have. Instead use it on something important." And with that the old women left the fairy prince to his business. The fairy prince finally got to the front gates of the elven lord's manor house. There was a tall, pink skinned women with two heads. The knight had white hair that was in braids. One hand held a blackened sword, and the other a blackened axe. "There you are my prince, pity the others could not stop you. They are dead aren't they?" One head said. "I mean with all that blood on you and all." The same head said. "Yes they are dead, and so will you be if you do not get out of my way." The fairy prince said with a snarl. That only made the knight laugh. "You think you can defeat us. We are not like those week children you killed. We are over hundred years old." The other head said. "We will not lose to the likes of you." The other head side. Then they ran straight to the fairy prince. Forcing him to block the hit. Hit after hit the fairy prince had to block the blows or get cut down. This continued for far to long the fairy prince was starting to get tired the knight started to get a few cuts in. One on the fairy prince's cheek, one on his side, a few on his arm, and a particularly nasty one on his chest. Just as the fairy prince thought he could get one hit in, the knight knocked him so hard into a wall he thought his back was broken. "You see prince you will not win against us." One of the heads said. "Oh, so you think so." The prince said with a bloody smile. The fairy prince summoned the ametrine hounds. Once they were summoned one bit the right hand and the other the left. Lifting his sword, and slowly cutting across the knight's chest. The knight refused to make a sound, as her chest was being cut open. "So, why did you not summon the hounds at the beginning of the fight?" One of the heads asked. "To be honest I forgot." The fairy prince said than in one fluid motion he sliced the two heads in half. Now all he had to do was to go inside of the manor house and find his wife. As soon as the fairy prince entered the manor house there was a scream coming from the ballroom. Racing to where he heard the sound, he saw the elven lord, with his red hair and fox eyes. Then he saw his wife who was the last of his knights. She was an elf like him, she had brown hair and pink eyes. The lady knight was standing next to a giant birdcage with his wife inside. Beaten, bloody and with big heavy chains on her throat, wrists, and ankles. The fairy prince was filled with white hot rage at the sight of his wife. The fairy prince sprinted to the elven lords, but just as he set foot on one step of the dais, the fairy prince heard a bloodcurdling scream. And he stopped dead in his tracks. It came from his love. The shackle around her throat was red hot, and burning into her skin. "Now my prince. You will get to see this thing be burned for her crimes." The elven lord said. The fairy prince had to come up with a plan and fast it was now sunrise. And his love would be killed. But all the fairy prince did was follow the elven lords with his wife being lead to her execution. As she was being led up to the stake to die, all the fairy prince could hear were people cheering for the show. The fairy prince did not want to listen to the crowd. He also could not look at his wife at her tear filled face. But even though she was crying she held her head up high. The fairy prince saw her courage and found his, finally getting an idea. "I challenge lady Elenron Thasethphia to a duel." The crowd gasped the second the fairy prince said this. Even the elven lord gasped. But the elven lady just smiled, and got up from her seat. "Oh you want a fight now?" The lady knight asked. "Yes, but I want a reward for winning." The fairy prince said. "What type of reward do you speak of." The lady knight asked. "I want my wife to be free and back in my arms." The fairy prince said holding up his ametrine sword pointing directly at the lady knight. The ametrine hounds growling at either side of him. "And.... If I win? What do I get?" The lady knight asked drawing her sword. "You get your show and me as your personal servant for the next twenty-seven years." The fairy prince said. The lady knight looked so delighted at this deal. "I do except your challenge to a duel, and you can use your ametrine hounds in the dual as well. You will need all the help you can get." The lady knight said with a small bow. The fairy prince did the same. They met face to face, crossing their swords together to duel. The lady knight swung first going started for the fairy prince's head. But luckily, he dodged just in time. One of the ametrine hounds went for the lady knight's sword hand. But she saw this and kicked the ametrine hound straight into the other. The fairy prince flew up into the air then straight down again trying to get a hit in. But the lady knight just stopped the blow. His feet now on the ground tried to grab the lady knights sword but just got an elbow to the face. With the fairy prince in pain and distracted the lady knight swung her sword. The fairy prince tried to dodge it but got a nice scratch across the face. The lady knight started to just do blow after blow. But the fairy prince blocked or dodged them the best he could. The fairy prince knew what the lady knight was doing, she was trying to wear down his stamina. To get a cheap shot in that will be fatal. But in the corner of his eye he saw the ametrine hounds finally getting up to jump back in the duel. One ametrine hound sprinted straight to the lady knight, biting her right in the behind. Making the lady knight yelp in pane. The fairy prince took this opportunity to slit the lady knight's throat. A wail came from the elven lord as the lady knight's body hit the ground. Dismissing the ametrine hounds soon as the fairy prince could he ran right up to his love and unchained her and gave her the biggest kiss he could ever give. The fairy prince and his wife just stood there embracing each other and kissing. That was until the fairy prince's wife grabbed the opal sword on his back. The fairy prince did not have time to react to what was happing. All he saw was the opal sword in the stomach of the elven lord, and his wife just standing there. Everything went silent the moment she did that. Not a single sound was heard. Until the crowd started to shouting too many things at once. So, grabbing his love and the opal sword the fairy prince and his wife ran as fast as they could into the forest. With the mob of angry folk not too far behind. The couple luckily got behind some bushes and waited for the mob to run past them. And running past them they did. "So my love, what do we do now?" His wife asked sounding out of breath. "We go home." The fairy prince replied. So off to home the couple went. When the couple got home, they went straight to the king's office to have a little chat with him. First the fairy prince entered the office. "Son. So how was watching your little human pet burn? I bet it was quite a show." The king said with a smirk. "It was quite a show." The fairy prince's wife said stepping into the room. The king looked as if he saw a ghost. "So father how do you want to do this?" The fairy prince asked. At that the king looked as if he wanted to rip-off the fairy prince's head. But quickly turned his attention to the fairy prince's wife. With out hesitation the king grabbed the sword hanging on the wall and ran straight to the fairy prince's wife. The king swung his sword but the wife blocked it with ease. Blow after blow she dodged and blocked. She was so graceful it was all most like she was dancing. The fairy prince could not take his eyes off his wife. The fairy prince witnessed his wife stab his father in the stomach, but that was not the end of it. The king pulled a knife out and stabbed the fairy prince's wife in the chest to close to her heart. The king was the first to fall to the ground. Than his wife fell. The fairy prince ran right over to his beloved and held her in his arms. "My love.... if this is to be the end. I must apologize for what I did to yo-" The fairy prince put his finger to her mouth to stop her. "No. this will not be the end of us I will find a way to save you." He sobbed out. All the fairy prince could do was sob and hold his wife. That was until he remembered the old women and the bottle. He took the bottle and put it to his wife's lips. "Drink this. It will make you feel better." Tipping the bottle into her mouth. Almost instantaneously the wound closed and the fairy prince's wife looked good as new. "You saved me again for the second time today. How could I ever repay you?" The fairy prince's wife asked. "Having you here with me is more than enough." The fairy prince said with a smile and kissing his wife. And they lived happily ever after.
The end
