Slitherton woke up with a small headache. He sat up from his bed and looked around.

Yep. Got too drunk again. His thoughts swirled around his mind as his head was hurting. Birdie must have a new humiliating story about me... wait.

"Bird?" Slitherton looked around the room. He and Wren were roommates, and obviously, they must have gotten drunk together like always last night. But where was Wren?

There were small groans coming from somewhere in the room.

"Birdieee?" Slitherton got up. "Where are-"

BANG

"OW!" Wren's voice screamed from under the...bed? Slitherton lifted the bed, sure enough, Wren was under there.

"How did-?"

"Don't ask questions, the reason you woke up on a bed was me." Wren crawled out of under the bed. "I had to carry you, you got absolutely wasted."

"Yeah, like I don't know that." Wren flopped right against Slitherton. Slitherton looked down at him, as he didn't seem like he was bothering to get up any time soon so Slitherton would have to deal with Wren being there.

"I had too much tooooo-" Wren groaned while leaning against Slitherton. Slitherton looked down at him and sighed with a chuckle.

"Yes of course you did, you ended up under a bed." Slitherton reached over and grabbed his phone. There was a message, from the boss.

"Morning Slitherton. Hope you aren't too wiped out. I remember what you said about the kickback in the sniper bruising your shoulder, that could be a threat with the newbies. I've informed Royio that you will, hopefully, be coming over to his room to discuss a fix to the problem. Go there today, get it fixed, pick it up and go to the range. Maybe hand it to some of the newbies to see how they think. From, Boss."

Slitherton put down his phone. "Okay Bird, get off I need to go somewhere." He kind of shoved Wren off. "You can deal with this."

Wren had a tired and done with everything face, as he was still very nauseous with what happened. It was a fun night for the 2, but, it's always the hangovers that are the worse.

Slitherton got up, grabbed one of his pens, and clicked the button. It shaped the sniper in an instant as he started to observe the sniper.

"Don't tell me you have 2 missions in a row." Wren kind of glared at him, as he was concerned about his friend getting overwhelmed. Even if it's only 1 mission a week, Wren is always super concerned and worrisome anytime Slitherton is out on a mission.

"I don't, don't worry. As you said with the sniper's kickback, the boss wants me to go to Royio to get them adjusted for newbies." He looked down at the scope as it was crystal clear, not needing to be cleaned.

"Ah yes, the kickback. Your shoulder doing good?" Wren got up and patted him on the shoulder.

"Yes my shoulder is fine, don't worry. It can just be more threatening and dangerous to the new hitmen and hitwomen. You know, like Crimson." He clicked the button on the sniper and it turned back into a pen and he put it in his pocket.

"Crimson...?" Wren was a bit confused, he never heard of the name.

"Crimson. She's the newest hitwoman, and I believe is gonna be at the shooting range all day with her instructor, I'll have her try out the sniper." Slitherton started to head for the door, Wren waved.

"I'll stay here for now!"

"Remember you need to train Xenos, give him more knowledge of the medicines all that."
