Stage 11 ( Rise and Shine)

I wake up in sweat and the light stings my eyes. I shut my eyes and bring my hands to them to wipe em. Slowly opening my eyes. I turn to look at the door which was better because the window and the bright sun were behind me. Finally taking notice of where I was. The door..the color of the room...a hospital?

Me- fuck. I curse under my breath. How the hell did I get here?

I search my mind but I just get a headache. Swinging my legs off the bed. I slowly and carefully ease myself off the bed. I was wearing some PJs that I had at Chris's house.

Me- what in the hell?

I felt up my pink PJs then traveled up my thighs to the purple tangtop I was wearing.

Me- cmon d remember something. I say lowly to encourage myself.

??- wow! You're up today.

My head shoots up to some nurse in a...nurse outfit. I guess she could tell I was confused. She walks over to me and I back up a little.

??- it's OK. My names Roberta. Some people call me Robby.

Me- you're not explaing what you're doing here.

I snapped. I didn't mean too but for some reason...I didn't trust her.

She checks my IV that I didn't notice had been there. She also checks my shoulder patch.

Robby- I'm your nurse. You've been out for 3 days.

She had red hair and looked really...familiar?...whatever.

Me- ..did I get shot...how?

Robby- you don't remember?..well you jumped off the bed you were being rolled in on after an accident that you encountered earlier last night. Anyway you saved Chris brown. Theeee Chris brown. She says smiling while changing my patch.

Me- really? Well...I must be stupid.

I say the last part under my breath.

Robby- I'm surprised he's not here right now.

I zoned the girl out after she told me that Chris was in the hospital cause one of his friends got hurt. Denis was so gonna get it.

Chris POV

I just reentered the hospital its been a crazy, lonely few days. Kae comes back today....yupp. Anyway, u head inside, but I dont see Robby at the nurse station. She must've been with D. I visit my homie first. He was getting checked out today so all of his family was here today.

Me- wassup blood.

D POV

Robby- Chris should be here now. His friend is getting discharged today.

I'm walking around the room trying to feel how strong I am. My doctor came in before

Robby- I'll be back with some things for you to take a shower.

Me- thanks. She left and I decided to wait a second to make sure she was gone. I noticed before she had put her phone down and it was now ringing. I answered it. What? We actually were getting along, so answering her phone is OK....right?

Me:hello...hello?

??: D?

I recognize the voice immediately.

Me: Denis

I say in disgust.

Denis: I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for all that to happen.

I hang up and put the phone down. I move to the opposite side of the room.

Denis always did this. He hurt me before to the point where my life was hanging from a shread. Then he kept trying to find me to apologize. What's an apology after an asswhooping?
