You & Jungkook kept meeting each other everyday, y'all have lunch together, visit the library together and even sit next to each other for a few classes.
You had hopelessly fallen in Love with him, checking the attendance for the class was never an issue, just that Every time you read his name out loud, your heart skipped a beat and you could feel all the blood rushing to your face, how could someone possibly resist his charms? All the girls beg for his attention, but he spends most of his time only with you.
Anytime he spotted you with other guys, he would ask you who the guy was, and would constantly bulge his tongue against his cheek in jealousy, you found it cute and could definitely tell when he got jealous, and overprotective about you.
One day at the Library...
"Why are you such an interesting person doing such boring things?" Jungkook questions
You sigh.
"Well, JK, I used to Love studying, I still do but, I don't quite know what happened all of a sudden... It's kinda like my motivation died or something...
And it's not like I don't feel like fooling around like others, it's just that my parents have Higher expectations from me, and they kinda got used to hearing, "Hey mom, I won the first in my class' science quiz!" Or like "Hey dad! The vice principal has sent you a message regarding me scoring 94.75% on my first Semester's Finals".
"So you're kinda pressured and bothered?" He asks
"Well, yes and no" You say
"Yes and no?" He asks perplexed
"Yes because it's a hell lot of pressure and no because without this pressure I can't function" Y/N replies
"You can't function?!?!
Gurl... I work perfectly fine without pressure, nuh- uh don't even try convincing me that I won't function without pressure, I work perfectly fine!" He says
"Ey! I was talking about me, just imagine a world, you're a girl, where you're expected to be perfect at everything, everyone in this room envies you, you have a heck lotta achievements, guys drooling over you,
And just imagine if all of these people learn You don't wanna be you anymore, you hear how weak that sounds?" Y/N snorts
"Wow, I never thought of it that way". He says staring at the floor.
"And just recently, I missed a deadline, just one late assignment in 9 months, my mom was confused, my teacher called my Mom up just to check if I was Feeling okay! It's not easy being me! And you know the worst part of it all, you become so robotic that people around you think you're arrogant, while the only sin you do is dedicatedly do your work timely striving for Perfection".
"Why do you do all this?" He asks
"I don't have an option, I didn't chose this path, this path chose me". You say *winks playfully and pouts*
"Aye, that was a thug life meme! You stole it and made it all goodie two shoes-ish!" *He hits your shoulder while laughing*
Y/N & Jungkook Burst out Laughing
"Ssshh" Says Ms. Williams
"Sorry" You and Jungkook whisper
