Solomon's Point of View
March 20th 1668

"Aria!!! No! Let her go!" I screamed.

The love of my life was stood chained up underneath a tree by the cliffs edge.

Her head turned, searching for me, resigned tears streaming down her rosie cheeks as she gave a half hearted encouraging smile when the noose was tightened around her neck.

"Hang her!" "Hang the witch!" "She cursed the millers son!"The mob cried.

They were wrong! My sweet girl, who had always been one with nature since we were young had been abused my the millers son, after he had attempted to remove Aria'a corset in the town square, she had hit him so hard that he had woken speaking in tongues.

I watched in horror as the local strongman pulled the rope attached to my brides neck, with each hoist I could see her struggling .

I fought tooth and nail to get to her, but the townsfolk held me back.

I was forced to watch as my world dangled from a rope and stopped kicking.

This town had done it, they had murdered my one true love.

When they brought down her body, I thought I could at least bury her, but they cut down her lifeless body and threw her body off the cliffs edge.

They would pay for this.

As I returned home, the heaviness of silence hung in the air. No humming, no singing, no amazing meal prepared. The only thing that awaited me was an empty house,  devoid of life and joy.

No longer would I hear the laughter that brought me such joy.

I walked past the kitchen, remnants of what was to be our dinner last night scattered on the floor. I walked up the stairs and peeked into her room.

Her bassinet in the corner, not to rock again, her dolls placed neatly amongst her pillows, never to be played with. books lined the shelves, never to be read again.

I walked down the hall and entered our shared room, once fresh picked flowers were wilting next to our bed.

I opened her bed side drawer and found the book she told me never to touch.

I read through the book until I found the spell, the one to make attached souls immortal.

"Bŕãk veï
Bŕâk téj
Malāquěvah
Tes Moroveigh
Hear me now, my Lady!
Hear me now, my Lord!
Isj mók bei
Tuz Aria!
Isj mók bei, Solomon
United, entwined, forever, as one."

A ring of fire surrounded me, slowly inching its way towards me, this fire was alive. As it surrounded my flesh, I heard the song of pipes and the flames turned into moss.

A small voice, somehow still a whisper echoed through the property, "Wish granted, find her."

I packed clothes, food, and my minature portrait of my Aria.

I was going to find her, no matter how long it took.
