Alexis' POV
The sound of the elevator opening I woke me from my daze, And as soon as I collect my thoughts I walked out and head straight toward my office.
"Good Morning Ms. Rink. I have your coffee here, Tesla called again asking about you doing commercial? ABC also gave you a call asking if you would do the 19th season of the bachelorette. And don't forget your father is coming at 2:30." My assistant Megan rambled as she rushed from around her desk and followed me to my office.
I let out a sigh and continued walking.
" yes, tesla. No, bachelorette. Let me know when my father arrives please? thanks Megan." I say as we reach my office door, I turn to her and take my coffee. I walk in, shut the door and go straight to my desk.
I look across my desk and see the blueprints for the Florida resort. I've been working on it for a while now. The contractors keep me posted every day.
As i'm doing paperwork my office phone rings.
" hello this is Alexis Rink how many help you?" I put on my business tone as I pick up the phone.
"Okay you really need to work on your professional accent."
I let out of breath at the familiar voice.
"Sydney what have I told you about calling my work phone?" I say trying to be upset but after that I just let out a chuckle at my best friend.
" yeah yeah whatever listen. We need to go to Club Z tonight." She says and I can feel her smirk.
"Why? And you know I can't do that I have to finish the plans for the Texas resort."
" you work too much. Maddie and I are worried about you." She says trying to sound sincere.
"Okay, now tell me the real reason." I say not believing it.
" hey, that is the real reason...-"she says hurt.
She paused but then she continued.
"Plus you need to get laid." She finishes and I sigh.
"I get laid." I say defending myself.
" girl no. You pussy had dust on it. "
I gasp. " that is a lie-" she cuts me off.
" it its not. Just because you're different in the bedroom does it mean you have to stop trying." She says and all I can do is think.
She's right. Her and Maddie have known about my dominance in the bedroom for a while now. I mean they're my best friend I told him everything.
" Okay bae, but that doesn't mean I have to go out." I say still dodging the idea.
" you're going."
"Why would I?" I challenge.
" I have a plan."
