Should We or Could've Been

Chapter 16:

         (☞Tiara's Dream Over☞)

"I'M PREGNANT," I shouted waking up out of my sleep.

"TIARA WHAT THE F*CK DID YOU JUST SAY,"  My mom yelled coming into my room.

"Wait what, it was all a dream" I said rubbing the crust out if my eyes.

"It better have be, I can't have more kids running around here," she said walking right out of my room.

Woo that was close I thought in my head. But something does feel wrong today, and I don't know what it is.

I quickly went into the bathroom brushing my teeth, and washing my face. Then I quickly put on my uniform for school.

As I walked downstairs I seen Ka'sani eating some of the cake out the plastic container.

"Did you save me any," I asked.

"Nope all gone," he said smiling.

"Rude,"I mumbled.

"What was that you said you wanna fight okay bet," he said getting up.

"Ka'sani it is too early in the morning to be fighting," I shouted.

"Stop all that damn yelling in my house, and get ready for school" she said from coming out the bathroom.

"Okay," said me and Ka'sani at the same time.

"I'm finna eat all the Oreo cookies then," I said running to the bucket.

"You better not," he said back.

"Oh I will, and not only will I eat these I'll eat the little bites too!" I told him stick out my tongue.

"I'm finna hit you," he said.

"Then I'ma call the police and tell em you assaulted me, so they gonna put you in jail." I quickly stated.

"You can't lock me up. What did I tell you they never gon catch me," he said.

"But they will find out what you be searching on your tablet," I mumbled.

"That's private information Tiara. Now I gotta get ready for school," he said walking away.

"Bye Ka'sani I love you," I said to him as he got out the car and walked into his school.

Maleek pulled off driving towards our school and parked across the street.

We walked into the school building together, and I seen Ava mugging me out the corner of my eye. See she's acting weird again and I don't like that.

I looked the other way, as Maleek put his arm around my neck.

"You good?" He asked.

"Yeah I'm fine, are you?"

"Yep," he said blankly.

"Alright, well I'll see you later Maleek," I said  giving him a side hug before I walked off towards my class for the day.

Walking out of school Maleek wrapped his arm around my neck again as we walked over to his car.

"So how was school," he asked.

"It was fun, what about you?" I asked sitting back.

"Boring, you know" he said shrugging his shoulders.

I began thinking back to my dream last night. It was nice until he got shot, but at least he was still alive. I'm still worried for Maleek because I usually don't have dreams so real until something big is coming.

"Tiara, Tiara, Tiara," said Ka'sani snapping me out of my trance.

"Oh Ka'sani when did you get here," I said.

"I been here," he said smartly.

"Don't get smart with me Ka'sani," I shouted.

"Okay, over there dream ling of Maleek getting you pregnant," he mumbled.

"Ayo what he say, Tiara" Maleek said getting excited.

"It nothing," I said.

"We'll talk about this later," he said as he pulled up in front of my home.

"No we won't," I mumbled.

"Don't play with me, Tiara" he said back.

"Okay," I said.

I laid down in my bed because I was having a really bad head ache forming. I started to try to an rest my rest, but it wouldn't work.
Out of the corner in my eye I seen  something  black swerve around my room coming towards me. A small circle shadow hit my face making me black out.
