Part 17 : Birthday party

𝘼𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙧'𝙨

"𝗢𝗵- 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁! 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂!" You exclaimed. Jungkook tilted his head in confusion. You slid your hands in your pocket and took out the locket which was Jungkook looking for.

"𝗢𝗵! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁?" You nodded and handed him.

"𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼𝗼", he narrowed his eyes mischievously. He then leaned closer to you and gripped your chin to lift your face upto his level, intending to kiss you but your sudden reflexes back off. You pulled your face away from him, not intentionally. But it just happened. Maybe you were not really ready or you needed time. His smile dropped but then he again curved his lips into an assuring smile.

"𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗼𝗸. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘄. 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱. 𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲." he got off the car and took out your luggage from his trunk and rest items which you bought, before helping you to keep them in kitchen. He then came out with you following him. He got in the car and was fastening his seatbelt.

"𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗸!" You interrupted. He stopped and looked at you who rushed to his side of window. He slid down the window glass for you. "𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱? 𝗜 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴?"  He looked at the back seat and again looked at you just for you to lean your head inside the window and leave a sweet peck on his cheeks. He touched his cheecks with widened eyes and immediately flashed his infamous bunny smile. How you wanted to see that smile. You finally waved at him and he left, all blushing and smiling.

Few days rolled down like this. You handling your study and job both while Jungkook accompanying you as much as he could and helping you with literally everything, making all your tired days smooth and easy. And if anyone ask you were happy or not? The answer would be definitely yes. You've never been so happy in your life ever since your parents left you. The feeling of being loved , wanted and important were back. Until now, you don't regret giving a chance to relationship with Jungkook.

You were sitting in cafeteria with Jisoo right now. She's was blabbering about him and Jimin as always.

"𝗜𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗜 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱", she clapped her hands while Grinning and you gladly nodded.
'𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘥', the moments with Jungkook flashed in your mind, leaving a small shy smile on your face.

"𝗕𝘁𝘄, 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯'𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄?" She asked sipping her cappuccino.

"𝗨𝗺𝗺𝗺...𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹", you replied looking elsewhere but her.

"𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁! 𝗗𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻'𝘁 𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗶𝗺 𝘆𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯'𝗱𝗮𝘆", she suspiciously pointed at you and you looked down. Well...she is right. You never told him about your b'day. And why would you? Your b'day was nothing special all these years. No one even remembers your b'day except Jisoo. This day was nothing but ordinary day like other's so you don't feel like doing anything special for it.
