"Trevor" I whispered "what? Why are you whispering?" "I heard what that teacher was thinking" "what? Does he have a crush on the lunch lady?" He laughed "Trevor! This isn't funny he thought we weren't safe anymore and they need to find a new facility" "why aren't we safe?" "He said "they" we're coming for us and they wouldn't show mercy" "I got to go" he said as his food flew in the trash "where are you going?" "C'mon I know what he is talking about and if I'm right we have to go" "but..." "Do you trust me?" He said reaching for my hand "of course but..." "We have to go" he said grabbing my hand. He started walking really fast and it was hard to keep up with him. Once we got close to his locker he started to jog. When we got to his locker he pulled out a book and started looking through the pages. Finally I just gave up on waiting and I read his mind "this can't happen!! Not here!! These things don't just destroy they kill" what?! "What are these things!? For once I'm the one who is confused" "these things don't have names they aren't even full beings. They are demons and all they want is to suck the life out of anyone in order to live. Since super blood is the most powerful they would kill anyone between them and a chance to return to normal form" "normal form?" "Demons are not humans they are fallen Angels. Once they are demons they can't ever redeem themselves as angels so they need to take a certain amount of lives to become humans."
I tried to process this.
"W-what ?" I stuttered "you can ask me all your questions on the way but right now we need to go" "what about my brother?" I said pulling away "we don't have time to look for him" "it won't take long I can call him" "here" he said as he handed me his phone "I mean up here" I said gesturing to my head. "Oh yea" he said putting his cellphone away. Walking towards a bench. I concentrated on the picture of my brothers face thinking "jacob! Jacob can you here me?!" Then all of a sudden I heard it. A small whisper as if he wasn't concentrating hard enough to respond. "Jacob I need you to concentrate on my voice." "Why are you in my head?!" "Come to the courtyard I need to tell you something..." I didn't here anything it was silent "Jacob it's important" I still didn't here anything. I just stood there waiting like an idiot. Then I felt this weird feeling like someone was watching me. I tried to hear any thoughts within a few feet but I couldn't here anything. Almost as if the person's mind was empty. I was trying so hard to concentrate when I felt someone's hands cover my mouth.
