Figuring it out

I flopped down onto the floor, crossing my legs and scrolling through the TV channels. Hinata told us to make ourselves at home, and I intended to do just that.

"All right, what does everybody want for dinner?" Hinata asked. I looked at him as best I could from my spot in front of the couch. Bakugo and Kirishima were sitting next to each other on the couch, Kaminari and Shinso claiming a spot on the other end. Everyone else, excluding Hinata, Midoriya, and Suga were sprawled in various places on the floor.

"Something spicy." Bakugo called, the others nodding along. I shrugged, I didn't really care one way or the other.

"Sounds good. I'll get started." Hinata responded.

"Don't burn the house down boke." Kageyama teased.

"Shut up baka! I know what I'm doing!" Hinata shouted indignantly, failing slightly to hide the spread across his cheeks.

"Don't forget us!" Midoriya exclaimed.

"Shut up nerd! You suck at cooking!" Bakugo insulted.

"Be quiet Kacchan, or else I'll purposely burn your food then beat your ass." Midoriya retorted.

"He's such a badass." I said. I must've had a weird expression on my face, because Kirishima and Kaminari exchanged glances, smirking.

"What?"

"Dude, you are so whipped." Kaminari said before laughing, Kirishima joining him.

"Whipped? What does that even mean?" I asked.

"Ignore them Todoroki. They act like they aren't the same way." Shinso grumbled, swiping at Kaminari, who let out a squawk.

"You guys really act like a family, huh?" Daichi piped up, speaking for the first time.

"Yeah, the way you always tease each other, and you seem very protective of each other, especially Midoriya." Nishinoya acknowledged.

We all shared a look.

"Well, that's because we are. In our world, villains attack us on an almost daily basis. We never know we is going to get hurt, or worse, killed. And since Midoriya is on the top of the villains hit list, we've kinda just taken to protecting him, even though we all know he's more than capable taking care of himself." I said quietly. Bakugo picked up for me.

"Not that it's your business, but he's been through a lot. Well, we all have. We protect each other and that's that. Everyone in our six-person group would die for each other in an instant. That's what it is."

"Aw, you actually care about us!" Kaminari cooed, breaking the tense and heavy air around us.

"HUH?! WHAT DID YOU SAY, DUNCE FACE?" Bakugo shouted.

"Foods done!" Midoriya came out of the kitchen with a pot in his hands. He sighed, staring at Bakugo, who was chasing Kaminari around the couch, weaving around people and jumping over the furniture. Midoriya set down the pot on the table, and when Bakugo and Kaminari were within his arms reach, Midoriya went out and grabbed them, sending the two-toppling backwards.

"I think I know how we got transported here."

"How?" Bakugo grumbled from Midoriya's clutches.

"My theory is that Kurogiri is responsible. Instead of trying to transport me to the League's headquarters, he ended up transporting all of us. Since I'm pretty sure All for One didn't mean to send us all here, he'll probably try to get us back, using any means necessary." Midoriya replied, dropping Kaminari and Bakugo on their asses.

"Which means we'll have to fight our way out, especially once All for One discovers this world." I piped up. Midoriya hummed his agreement.

"Be honest Midoriya, do you think we can take him and win?" Kaminari asked quietly.

"Hmm, if it's all of us going after him... it'll be hard. There's an overwhelming possibility that we'll all die. If he's trying to kill us then we don't stand a chance. He's been around too long to underestimate anyone, even heroes in-training. But I know for a fact that he won't just let us be. He'll come after us, I'm sure of it."

Shinso, Kaminari, Kirishima, and Bakugo and me paled. The fact that even Midoriya, ever optimistic, told us that we don't stand a chance, really opened my eyes.

"Then we just need to train. If All for One wants to take us. Or this world. If All for One discovers this ripe world with no quirks, he'll see it as a way to gain more followers." I recovered, running a hand through my hair.

"Todoroki is right, we just need to train and defend this world." Kirishima piped up.

"But where? This isn't like our world where everyone's got a quirk, there's no training ground." Kaminari said.

"I know!" Hinata spoke, turning all eyes on him.

"About a mile from here, there's a big clearing in the middle of a forest. I can take you guys there tomorrow."

"I'll come as well. Together, Hinata and I will keep a lookout." Kageyama said, standing up and grabbing his water bottle.

"Look at you two, putting your one braincell to use." Tsukishima said dryly, sounding for all the world like he's a proud parent watching his children grow up.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP FOUR EYES!" Kageyama yelled. The blond boy looked taken aback, like he hadn't expected Kageyama to blow up. I allowed myself a small smile, slightly enjoying Kageyama losing his shit.

"DON'T YOU GET IT? THIS IS SERIOUS, SO GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS AND HELP." he continued. Everyone stared in shock, most likely mot used to him actually being pissed off.

"Anyways, Hinata and I'll help any way that's possible." Kageyama sighed, his voice dropping back down to a normal volume.

"Thank you Kageyama and Hinata. But for now, everyone should get some food." Midoriya smiled.

Midoriya POV

After everyone grabbed a bowl and got situated, I finally served myself.

Dinner was a tense affair. Because of Kageyama's outburst, everyone one was on edge. Well, almost everyone.

"This shit sucks." Bakugo grumbled, continuing to shove food down his throat.

"Uh-huh, say the guy eating like he's been starved." I retorted, eating my food at a more humane pace. Bakugo flipped me off, and Kirishima elbowed him in the ribs.

"What the fuck?" Bakugo choked, coughing.

"You know what." was all Kirishima said as he went back to his food. Todoroki and Hitoshi chuckled, and Kaminari and I full out laughed, effectively diffusing the situation.

"So, where should we meet up tomorrow?" Hitoshi asked, getting up to serve himself some more food.

"How about here?" I suggested. The other five of my team shrugged.

"Daichi, can you make sure that we don't get in trouble tomorrow with Coach?" Hinata asked, giving the team captain puppy-dog eyes.

"Fine, but only because I don't wanna die. Now everyone hurry up and eat so you can get some rest!"

"Yes sir!"
