The breeze's little wails, the heave of the leaves on the cracked, narrow street and the soft yet, abrupt moves of the trees predominate in the hearing of a living being.
The night's sweet song playing perpetually around the city, a mild smell of freshness, encouragement for life, yet a melancholic scent driving the mind to questions of eternal existence that will never be unraveled. Or at least, believed they will never be unraveled.
When the nose hits the heart with yearn for dreams, hope, the freshness of the wind wafting around drives on the certain spot eagerness for improvement is born.
In the soul, in the roots of every heart beating lively, steadily inside a ribcage. Inside a still breathing unlabeled creature that has been selected to move, step on this planet accidentally by fate.
Or by someone, something, no pair of eyes has been enough blessed to behold or touch.Atsumu has always been the person who wonders, digs in the every inch of every questioning thought riding through his poor mind. He frequently loses himself into nothingness, or actually, nothingness in the opinion of other beings.
Creatures as miniscule and as petty as him. Just with different minds, opinions and ways of living or just existing. Everything is different, distinctive with its own way for a reason not revealed in the living world. Maybe for a reason.
Atsumu's mind is always running, chasing after something he needs an answer for.
Everybody spends a small piece of their puzzle called life in wondering, questioning what all this is. What's this world, from what it is created, why everything exists and why they are standing, walking and breathing on this planet.
Atsumu at first thought it was normal to spend so much time by musing, losing himself in the questions, pictures and comments nesting in his head. He finds himself drowning in the parts of his brain that he has already discovered and assayed thousands of times but still, he hasn't found an answer.
By now, he has realized that digging himself so deep in things everyone around him has grown indifferent to them is not just a phase for him.
No, it has turned more like a way of living, a reason to keep existing and fighting, hoping that one day, he'll be able to find the answers he craves for.
Although, a question, a wonder, still stands proud.
Everybody and everything has moved on, why hasn't he? Why hasn't he been able to overcome this 'phase' everybody has faced before? Why hasn't he freed himself from the cage he himself has built? He has the key in his hands but still, his hand stays in its place, not moving to unlock the door and throw himself in reality, or just on the surface.
In his way of bringing the light into the most shaded, dark parts of his heart, of his head, he has a partner. A partner that he's so different yet, so similar to him.
They are like the moon and the sun, so different, one is the night and the other is the day but both, have the same purpose of existing in eternity, to light the world up. Bring the light in the paths of earth, just in disparate hours.
Kiyoomi, the moon to his sun. Or at least that's his wish, for Kiyoomi to become the moon to his sun one day. One day maybe soon or maybe in months, years, decades, millenniums. Whenever this time comes, Atsumu will wait for him.
