This is my first story, so can you please only put positive criticism. Please.
I walk in to find him passed out on the couch. Since she had left, he had been like this. Drunken and mean. I remember when he was happy. He had always had a smile on his face. But now that smile was miles away and what it gave him were wrinkles of sadness.
I carefully turned off the TV that was left on and slowly covered his body with a blanket. His eyes shot open. I backed away slowly, hoping he wouldn't lash out.
"I waited for you all day. Where the hell have you been?" he screamed.
"I was at school. Did you get off early today?" I said hesitantly.
"Obviously, and you weren't here to make my food!" he screamed again.
"You didn't tell me this morning. I would of come home."
"Don't tell me that I did something wrong, you worthless piece of crap." he screamed, this time hitting me across the cheek with the beer bottle in his hand.
I fell to the floor, feeling the blood trickle down my cheek. Tears were streaming down my face.
Don't cry. You'll make it worst. I thought, and it did make it worst. Once he noticed I was on the ground, he rapidly kicked my stomach until I could no longer feel it.
He looked down, stumbling a bit.
"Your mother left me because of you. She left me because you caused her to much pain." he cried.
The last thing I saw before everything went black was him running to the kitchen sink and throwing up, then falling to the floor, hopefully staying there for a while.
I know it's short but, again it's my first story. I have more ideas but really don't want to put too many chapters out there until I get some feedback.
Well, thank you for reading. Bye you lovely perons.
