You burst into the gym, 30 minutes late to volleyball practice, chest heaving as your pants rocked your hunched frame.
The distinct squeaks of rubber soles against polished floorboards came to a halt as the Seijoh volleyball team froze halfway through a spiking drill at your brusque entrance. The Molten ball in the brunette's grip fell as he stared at you, stunned.
Hanamaki cocked his head to the side in confusion, "Y/N, are you okay?"
"Nee-chan is never okay." Yuusei's snarky comment sounded from behind the net. You shot your younger brother a glare, poking your tongue out at him as you brushed the loose strands of your bangs away from your face.
You then clapped, "It just ended!"
The handsome brunette ran up to you in a split second, eyes wide, "You don't mean...?"
You nodded furiously, "Yes."
He gripped your shoulders, "The AGM, how—how did it go?"
You beamed, "Full confidence. The entire committee voted full confidence."
Unable to contain the elation coursing through your veins, your body moved once again. You threw your arms around his neck as a blinding grin bloomed on his face. He however stilled, shocked into silence as your cheek pressed against the side of his jaw.
