Padding down the road, she took a deep, shaky breath. She was going insane, she just knew it.
She could almost feel the tingling in her scales now. Ambrosi hissed to herself in desperation as she wrapped her arms around herself.
She glanced up as a drop of rain splashed against her nose. Her concentration was shattered and she watched in horror as the rain slowed to a crawl, dangling over her head like they were mocking her.
The dragoness fell back with a gasp, and the rain sped back up to normal. She sat, dumbfounded, watching the rain fall around her.
Yeah, definitely going insane.
