Once, there was an island. This island was split into two equal sides. There was one called the red side and the other was called the blue side.
On the red side, all the berries on the bushes were red. All the flowers were red. On this red side, there was a town with a sign that said: welcome to Red Town. In red town, the roofs and the doors of the houses were red. Because this town was very small, people only needed bikes or scooters (or electric scooters) and all of the vehicles were red. The people of red town were proud so at night, they lit red lamps on their doorstep. Red town had its own flag. It was triangle and only one solid color. That was of course, red.
On the blue side however, all the berries and flowers were blue. There was a town called Blue Town. Blue Town had houses with blue roofs and blue doors. Blue town was the same size as red town so it had bikes and scooters too. But blue instead. The people of blue town were also proud so they put blue lamps on their doorsteps. Blue town also had a flag which was triangle but their flag was blue.
The people of the two towns did not get along. Thats why the two town leaders put a black fence in the middle of the island as a border to mark the red and blue side. However, this fence was not very tall so the people of the two towns often came to this border to argue about which town was better. Both towns were trying to ruin eachother too. Like when the people from both towns gathered at the border to throw red and blue paint at eachother or when the red school taught the children that some blue stuff like blue flowers, lamps, flags and paint was bad, and trash talked blue town. Blue town did the same in blue school and taught children that some red things were bad and trash talked red town.
But not all people wanted the tension and hatred.
There was a group of people, half of them lived in red town and the other half lived in blue, but they painted their roots and doors yellow and purple, and they left yellow and purple lamps and lanterns outside their houses. Tis was because yellow and purple were considered neutral. This group of people wanted peace between towns. They didn't like how the towns hated eachother and wanted something to connect both towns.
The group just needed some time to get their peace plan to work.
