Festival

Next morning
The whole Kingdom was busy preparing for the festival. Everyone was happily decorating their houses and surroundings for the festival.

Zhan was busy doing some work with Xuan, while the others in the palace was busy decorating for the festival.

"Okay Xuan..... inform me if there are any more requirements....i am going now...."said Zhan and walked away.

He walked towards the corridor as he saw Yibo sitting with flower ropes garland tangled around his body.

"What is this Yibo...."said Zhan while laughing as he moved towards Yibo.

"Gege....I was just trying to help Xing and Ming in decoration...."said Yibo as Zhan helped him remove the ropes from his body.

"Ahh... little Yibo....you don't need to do all this....come with me..."said Zhan and took Yibo with him.

"Gege.....the decorations are very beautiful...."said Yibo while looking around.

"Yes Yibo......this festival is a special day for people to meet and enjoy this with their family..... that is why every year father make sure that the palace should look even more beautiful than previous year ..."said Zhan and Yibo nodded his head.

They walked towards the Highest spot of the palace from where they can see the whole village.

"Look Yibo...."said Zhan as Yibo saw the beautiful scenery, the village was looking adorned in red and orange colours beautifully decorated.

"It's so pretty gege...."said Yibo.

"Yes....it look even more pretty at night...."said Zhan.

"It's amazing gege...."said Yibo and looked at Zhan.

"Hmm...."said Zhan.

"What happened gege....is anything wrong...."asked Yibo.

"No Yibo...."said Zhan.

"Then why are you sad gege...."asked Yibo.

"Yibo.... it's just....i am sad....that I didn't able to save those kids....who were kidnapped....how can I call myself as good emperor if I can't even protect the people of my kingdom..."said Zhan.

"Don't be sad gege.... it's not your fault...."said Yibo.

"But....maybe I could save them...."said Zhan sadly.

"But you have tried your best gege....not everything is in our hand.... sometimes we have to face some loss too....its nature's rule... and I don't think anybody in your kingdom hate you as a Emperor.... because I have seen it too they really respect you gege.....and that is not because you are the emperor..... because you have the ability and qualities that are of great value and respect...."said Yibo and Zhan chukkled.

"Sometimes you just speak unbelievable things Yibo.......i often feel that you just act to be innocent but you are not actually, where do you hide this brain of yours...."said Zhan.

"It's not like that gege....i just speak....what I feel...."said Yibo as Zhan hugged his waist from back.

"You are adorable Yibo....I really love you...."said Zhan and pecked on Yibo's cheeks.

After sometime
"Yibo....you rest in your room....i will be back soon... okay...."said Zhan and Yibo nodded.

Zhan walked towards Siyi's room and entered inside.

"My lord....."said Siyi and bowed to Zhan.

"Why are you here...."asked Siyi.

"I am here to discuss something with you...."said Zhan and sat on his bed.
