The next day, when Zuma and Charm woke up, they got out of the bush and looked around. They saw a museum.
"Cool! A museum!" Charm remarked.
"I've never been to one in my life," Zuma said.
"Neither have I," said Charm. She suddenly smiled sneakily at Zuma. "So...do you want to go?"
"Chawm, you weally awe cwazy," Zuma then smiled back at Charm. "Of couwse I want to go!"
"Then come on Zuma!" Charm yelled over her shoulder while running toward the museum with Zuma following close behind. They found an open window and snuck inside. When they were inside, they began to admire the artworks hanging on the wall.
Not much later, two burglars came in the same window Charm and Zuma used to come in, and locked it right behind them. Zuma and Charm gasped when they saw the burglars holding guns and began to back away from them.
One of the burglars suddenly yelled, "Everybody, put your hands up!" getting everybody's attention. Zuma and Charm hid behind a few peoples' legs as the people put their hands up.
"I'm just going to ask you one simple question and if you don't tell us, you'll suffer the consequences. Let us show you how. Hey you!" She said gesturing toward a man. He pointed at himself with wide eyes. "Yeah you. Come here so I can show everyone what will happen to them if they don't cooperate." As the man walked shaking to the lady, she clicked her gun, aimed at the man, and shot. The man fell to the ground with blood pouring out of his stomach. He rolled into a ball and didn't move after that.
"THAT'S what would happen. Now tell me, where is the safe?" Nobody answered. "WHERE IS THE SAFE?!" The burglar suddenly screamed. She then pointed her gun at the lady behind the front desk and smiled evilly. Zuma blinked. Blinked back tears. These people can't die. As soon as the burglar pulled the trigger, he jumped right in front of the lady behind the front desk blocking the bullet from hitting her.
Zuma fell to the ground whimpering, his leg bleeding like crazy. Charm couldn't believe what was going on at first, but then she saw blood coming out of Zuma. A dark shiny red. Suddenly, she lost it and ran straight at the lady knocking her down. The other burglar saw this and tried to step on Charm, but Charm dodged the burglar's leg. Other people began to help Charm fight the burglars and soon, they were defeated and taken to jail.
After all of the commotion, Charm crawled to Zuma and hugged him. His blood got all over her fur, but she didn't care. He looked up at her and gave her a small smile. His eyes were drowsy, but to Charm, they still looked beautiful. Charm began to feel tears well up in her eyes. "It's okay Zuma. It's okay. If you need to sleep, go ahead and sleep. Just don't never wake up. Okay?" Zuma still looked up at her sleepily. "Okay. I'll twy." Then his eyes focused on something else behind her. Zuma saw a smudgy silhouette of a boy with spiky hair walking towards them before he blacked out.
