There was a ghost named Anthony Andrews. He'd been dead from a serious disease for about 12 years. In all that time no one had ever visited the ancient, cast aside and spooky castle so Anthony has been sad, lonely and isolated for a prolonged period of time. However that was all about to change drastically because a wonderful young girl called Emily Waters would soon come into his life and transform it utterly and completely. Victoria and Emily had quite the journey to endure because  they were arriving from Australia to Wales! This was due to a job offer for Victoria which she had gratefully accepted. Her mum worked as a photographer but in her spare time she tutored her daughter Emily at home.

"We're here." Victoria announced so very excited.  Her daughter Emily didn't say a word, instead she just stared blankly at the decrepit and dingy castle. "Well, what do you think Em?" Victoria her mother asked of her. "It's alright I suppose. She shrugged her shoulders. But it's not as good as our old house." Emily said sadly. "I know Emily but you'll come to love this castle in time. I'm sure it will grow on you." Victoria stated certain of this statement. Her mum didn't know it yet, even so she had predicted the future with that comment.

Both Victoria and Emily didn't know that the castle would in fact grow on the 21 year old. Later on the two woman entered the building, it had impossibly small and narrow corridors. The discarded and forgotten paintings were covered thickly with dust and dirt, as were the medieval books looking worn on the spines. The walls and ceilings were black with slight mould. There was also hints of white, gold and yellow specks exactly like a night sky. The floors were stone cold marble. The bookshelves, the tables and the stairs were authentic wood.

"Hey why don't you go upstairs and unpack your things while I prepare us both some lunch." Victoria offered. Emily looked around a final time before answering. "Alright mum." With her purple backpack and dark pink suitcase, she walked up the stairs. The stairs creaked and squeaked from the sheer age of them. She reached the top of the stairs and turned right. She saw that her bedroom was right beside the study where she could read a book, watch a film on her laptop or study for her homework or exams. Yes even though she was home-schooled, she still had homework to complete and exams to pass!

As she approached the door of her room, she heard an incredibly faint whisper. She spun around and realised there was no one there so she thought nothing of it. In her boudoir, in her eye line was a single bed, a couple of bookshelves, a small bedside table and a wooden wardrobe with a set of wooden drawers. She removed her backpack and unzipped it, inside she had her very favourite books, her mobile phone, her Sony blue headphones, a phone charger, her laptop, her laptop charger, her tablet as well as her tablet charger. She also had some deliciously yummy treats, her absolutely all-time favourite films and a blue and green teddy bear.

"Emily, sweetie the food is ready. It's pizza and chips!" Victoria shouted up the stairs. Emily hurried down the stairs as her stomach gurgled indicating she was really hungry. Victoria smiles and says "You look much happier, Em." Emily smiles wide at her mother and replies "I am, I've put away my books, my films, my phone and everything in my backpack so now I just need to put my clothes away. "Good girl, now come sit down and eat." Victoria said.

After the lunch she had been looking forward to. She went up to her room so she could place the clothes in her wardrobe and drawers and also to put the endless amounts of shoes she owned, away. When she eventually got up to her room, she started to hanging up her clothes. She had heaps and heaps  of clothing as she was staying in Wales for a whole four years... She had jumpers, hoodies, long dresses, some short dresses, a few colourful bikinis, a winter coat, jeans, shorts, pyjamas,  socks, and an assortment of bras and knickers. She hung up her long and short dresses, her long sleeved shirts, her jeans and her jumpers. She owned lots of black dresses, some blue dresses, a few red dresses and a couple of purple dresses too. In one of her drawers, she put the T-shirts, shorts and bikinis. In the second drawer she put her pants, bras, socks and PJ's. Next she moved onto footwear, a pair of flip flops, a pair of slippers, a few pairs of trainers and four pairs of boots.

'Finally!' She thought. Emily had now finished all her unpacking. 'About time.' She whispered to herself feeling relieved. 'I really want to explore this interesting and rather fascinating castle that has an abundance of character! She thinks to herself. What she didn't know was that she was minutes away from meeting her true love for the first time... She heads down the stairs to ask her mum if she is able to look around the castle. "Yes but please be quiet because I would like to take a nap before unpacking." Victoria says rather firmly. "Of course mum, I'll be as quiet as a mouse." Emily said squeaking and giggling a little. So Emily tiptoed away to find a torch. She made her way towards the cellar, however on the way she heard a strange and unfamiliar voice. She turned around and heard the voice again this time louder but yet again chose to ignore it. As she got nearer the cellar, the door all of a sudden slammed shut! Emily was so scared at this moment. She started breathing heavily and unevenly, her heart banging against her chest faster and faster.
