I finished packing my bags and plop on my bed, soon to be my little sister's.
Zoe bursts into my room waving her messy fingers in my face. "YAYA YAYA LOOK LOOK, I HAVE A SURPRISE!" She excitedly hollars. I giggle, "Okay Zoe I'm coming, but u gotta wash your hands before Mama sees them." She nods her head and goes straight to the bathroom and cleans her hands. Not long after she comes back tugging my hand. "Okayy now come see!" I get up and walk down the stairs to find a thing that is supposed to look like a cake on the kitchen table. I read the messy handwriting on the cake. "Goodbye Yaya, We Will Miss You!" "You like it?" Zoe asks me. I smile, "It's very nice Zoe, I love it." She gives me a wide grin, you could see her two missing front teeth. I pull her in for a hug. Then Zoe's grin turns a frown. "Yaya, why do you have to leave for school for a long time?" "I'm going to get a good education so that I will be able to help you, momma, and daddy ok?" She slowly nods her head. "How bout we eat the cake you made for me huh?" I say trying to distract her from the thought that I'll be gone for a while. She perks up in excitement. "Yayy let's eat cake!!!" I couldn't help but smile.
I couldn't stop thinking about who and how my roommate will be. I wonder if they are going to be nice. It's whatever, if they gon start shit with me, I already know how I will deal wit them.I laugh at my thought. I twist up my long almost coily honey brown hair and put a bonnet on. I brush my teeth, and finally go to bed. Tomorrow was a big day.
