A few months have past since the incident occurred. Jin's parent were able to figure out, from his grandparents, that what his siblings had acquired were sacred gears. Which were powerful artifacts god created and bestowed onto humans, to be able to have a fighting chance against the other races like devils, angels, and fallen angels.

They were shocked, to say the least, knowing that the supernatural actually existed. Even more so knowing that what Issei currently had was one of the 13 Longinus, a weapon that was said to be even capable of killing gods.

After knowing all this, they soon began to start ignoring Jin and put all their time and attention onto his older siblings. Especially Issei, who began to constantly try harassing him everyday since the incident.

There was one time when Issei told his parents on him, after he tried picking a fight with him only to get his ass handed to him by Jin. In the end, Jin's parents reprimanded him, ordering him to go apologize to his brother before heading back to his room.

Jin was pretty sad and angry realizing all this. To think he had actually believed he could finally live a new life with an actual loving family. He really had high hopes that these new parents of his would treat him differently than the ones he had in his previous life. But I guess not everything goes according to plan. The only thing that comforted him though was the fact that his sister, Aoi, would, from time to time, come to see him to see how he was holding up, which would help him forget all about his worries.

But even then that didn't last long. As time passed, the amount of times she will come and talk to him dwindled. And soon, she stopped talking to him at all.

As for his eldest sister, Sara. She would also come to see him occasionally, but mainly to show off her sacred gear or to ask him for a quick spar, which he would reluctantly have to agree to ,due to his parents insisting demands, saying things like, "As her brother, you should help her out.", which only angered him out more since in the end he would always come out all bloody and bruised. Even then, with all those injuries, his parents will still ignore him and will instead congratulate or praise his sister.

Due to all this, as time passed, Jin began to become cold and distant towards his family.

At present, Jin was currently outside sitting on a nearby bench. Wanting to get some fresh air and clear up his head. He really had about enough of it already, having to be mistreated and used as someone else's punching bag. He couldnt help but clench his fist

He was soon brought out of his train of thoughts though, as he noticed that his body began to glow which completely startled him. Soon, he felt his body start to heat up and noticed that the veins of his muscles began to bulge. He quickly fell onto the ground and soon began to grit his teeth as he felt the bones of his body began to snap and reform.

"Ahhhhhhhh" He soon yelled out, not being able to hold in his voice any longer, as he quickly felt his blood and organs start to boil. If you look closely, you could also see his skin begin to turn red as steam started emitting off of his body.

This process continued for a while before It abruptly came to a stop, as his skin began returning to it's normal color and the pain he felt soon began to dissipate.

"*Huff** Hufff* *Hufff* What the hell was that?" Jin soon voiced out, still laying on the ground, having no clue on what just had happened to him.

Noticing that he was still laying on the ground, he proceeded to quickly stand up before he decided to look around and look for the nearest reflection. Before long, he quickly caught sight of a broken mirror on the ground which he proceeded to immediately make his way towards and pick up.

Looking closely into the mirror, he quickly caught sight of his reflection allowing him to get a glimpse of his current appearance. To his surprise, It seemed that he had grown a few inches taller, having been four foot three before but was now standing at a whopping four foot five. In addition, his skin seems to have become more smoother and brilliant as well. He also appeared to have gotten a bit more muscle as apparent by his clothes, which were now showing a thorough outline of his well built figure. What really caught his attention though were his dragon like eyes, that after a while quickly return back to normal.

After looking at his appearance, Jin finally began to realize just what had happened to him.

"Wait! Don't tell me." He said before he quickly brought his hand up. Shortly after, a golden portal appeared before him from which a sword came flying out, cutting down a nearby tree.

"YES, finally!" He yelled out, realizing that he had finally received his powers.

Calming down, he began to carefully look around him to try and to see if anyone had seen him. Seeing as there was no one, he decided to quickly make his way back home.

Opening the entrance of the door to his house, as he made his way in, Jin quickly felt his body bump into someone, causing them to fall back.

"Ow, watch it." Issei shouted, as he immediately began to get back up.

"I should be the one saying that." Jin retorted

"Where are you planning to go to anyway ?" he asked, noticing the suitcase he was holding in his hand.

"None of your business since you aren't going with us anyway." Issei replied mockingly

'Us?' Jin thought, catching on quickly on what he had just said.

Before he could question him any further, he was quickly interrupted by the voice of his parents.

"Hey Issei, are you done packing?" Miki asked as she came walking in from the living room, with a suitcase in hand.

"Yeah" Issei replied

"What about your sisters?" Gorou questioned

"Here" Sara yelled out, as she and Aoi quickly came walking down the stairs

"Are you two also done packing?" Miki asked them

"Yeah, we put everything in the car already." Sara answered

"Ok, lets get going then." Miki replied

"Hey, wait! where are you guys going?" Jin interrupted.

"Oh, Jin your back?" Miki asked in surprise

"Yeah why wouldn't I be?" Jin replied coldly

"I just didn't expect you to come back home this fast. Anyway, me, your dad, and the rest of your siblings are going to be staying at your grandparents house for a while, in order to help and teach your siblings learn how to use their sacred gears."

"what! how long?" Jin asked, annoyed at the fact that they were just now telling him about this

"Hmmm? about a year or two give or take. Maybe even longer, as I don't how long your siblings training will take."

"WHAT! then what about me?" Jin yelled out angrily

"What do you mean? You'll obviously be staying here. Don't worry, I left a lot of food in the fridge and, if you ever run out, I left you my credit card." Miki replied to his worries.

"But..."

"Alright we have to go now, make sure you don't make a mess out of the house or else you'll be grounded for a month when we return." Miki interrupted before she began walking outside to the car, follow by the rest of the family. Leaving him there standing alone, not noticing the cold and emotionless look in his eyes.
