Regaining memories

Y/N came round a few hours later.
"Oh, are you awake?"
Y/N looked around, seeing a blue haired girl made me jump in shock. However Y/N was in too much pain to do so, so she lay it bed and gripped the sheets.
"Hey..."
"Oh I'm sorry for taking up your time! I'm really sorry! Please don't kill me!"
" Why are you so alarmed? I'm not gonna kill you?"  The girl said with a smile and was about to hold my hand.
Y/N forgot about her  pain and leapt out of the bed. Well, the pain remembered her as she knelt down.
"I'm filthy."
" I mean if you live in the forest, it's natural to be dirty right?"
" I don't mean that. I'm impure. Why would you just take in someone in the forest? It's dangerous you know!"
"Because you're hurt."
Y/N looked up to stare at the blue haired girl. Her face was a mixture of concern and worry. She hobbled into bed and apologised.
" Why are you always apologising? Oh and my name in Rimuru Tempest, a slime."
"I'm-cough- Y/N. You don't -cough- look like a slime"  Y/N's words were punctuated by coughs.
"Are you alright?" Rimuru asked as she rubbed your back.
Your eyes widened in shock when the girl transformed into a slime. She reached out to your head and transformed back into a girl.
"You have a fever. Have you eaten anything yet?" Y/N shook her head and said she hadn't eaten in five days. Shock and horror was registered on Rimuru's face.

"No way...I'm going to get you some food, if you need anything just call for me."

"Wait..."

"What?"

"Were you a man before?"

Rimuru froze. How could someone he just met tell he had been a man?

"Why?"

"Nothing."

Shion and Shuna was waiting for Rimuru. They asked who the girl was, and whether Rimuru was fine. Rimuru had been out of sorts. He kept thinking about Y/N's words. He wanted to know more, to understand Y/N.

"....so why, master Rimuru?" Shion asked.

"H-huh what? Sorry I wasn't listening." Rimuru apologised.

"We asked why you were caring so much for that girl!"Shuna exclaimed. Those words hit a nerve. I was angry, but I couldn't let it show.

"I would feel worry if I had just met a girl who hadn't eaten in 5 days, gotten bitten by a snake, and passed out due to a 39.9 degree fever." i replied with concern.

Shion and Shuna kept quiet as we walked to get some food.
