Caught Between Band Members (Luke Hemmings and Ashton Irwin)ON HOLD

Chapter 1

Ding ding. My phone alarm went off telling me 5 Seconds of Summer were about to start their live stream. I grabbed my computer and opened the internet navigating myself to the website they used. I waited and waited for them to appear on my computer screen. Then suddenly four very attractive boys were in front of me.

"Hey everybody!" Ashton said starting off the live stream.

"We have something very important to announce!" Calum said.

"We are having auditions for a keyboardist," Michael said .

"We want to have a keyboardist. Auditions are next week at the studio," Luke explained.

They went on with the live stream. I wanted to audition. I have been told I'm good at playing the keyboard. After the live stream was over, I was practicing the keyboard just playing random songs.

I found myself just playing anything and everything I knew, and got lost in playing the keyboard.

"Marena! Dinner's ready!" my mom yelled to me. I walked downstairs to meet my parents and older brother, Zac.

"What were you doing up there?" Zac asked.

"I was playing my keyboard. Got a problem with that?" I sassily replied, earning a scolding look from my parents.

Dinner went on, and afterwards I went and played my keyboard some more. I also attempted to play some 5SOS songs. I bet I could impress them if I nailed one of their songs. I practiced Never Be. I eventually grew tired and decided to go to sleep.

It has been a week since I found out about the auditions. I had been practicing all week. It is the day I am going to audition, and I am so incredibly nervous. I would be playing a song on the keyboard in front of my favorite band. I was in the car heading to the studio. After a ten minute ride, I had arrived. I took a deep breath before getting out of the car. I slowly walked into the studio doors, and I realized the line was very short. There was only one person ahead of me. He went and auditioned, and I had sort of heard him playing and he was amazing.

"Next!" the guard said. I was the only one left in line. My heart was pounding out of my chest as I walked in the room.

"Hello!" Ashton said greeting me.

"What's your name love?" Luke asked.

"I'm Marena." I responded. I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Lovely name." Michael said.

"Whenever you are ready." Calum said.

I took a deep breath and imagined myself alone in my bedroom. It was where I was most comfortable. I put my fingers on the keys. I began to play Never Be. I finished the song and glanced at their faces and they looked impressed.

"Thank you for your time." I said. I took a step out of the room.

"Miss you should stay here. They expect to make a decision today." the guard explained. "Have a seat over there." he pointed to where about ten other people sat. I honestly thought there would have been about ten times the amount of people here now. After sitting there for about a good hour to and hour and a half, the boys came out of the room.

"Ok, so first off we want to thank you all for auditioning." Calum said.

"You all were amazing and it made our decision very hard." Michael said.

"But we have picked a keyboard player." Luke said.

"Our keyboardist is.... Drum roll please boys... Marena." Ashton announced.

I was absolutely shocked. I didn't think they would ever pick me. A few of the people who auditioned congratulated me. I had heard a few of them playing the keyboard while they were auditioning, so I told them they did an amazing job. The boys then walked over to me to congratulate me. They also told me that rehearsals were going to start soon. They also want to make another album, and they wanted me to write some songs as well. They decided to have a get together at Luke's house, so they could get to know me.

Hey Everyone! New Story!!! I hope you will like this one. It was quite cliche but I will try to not make it cliche through out the rest of the story. But cliche stuff is bound to happen. So anyways I hope you like this story.
