Steve's P.O.V
I woke up in the middle of the night due to a nightmare and got really scared and ran to Herobrine's room. I shook him awake till I heard a groan. "yes, Steve?" he asked in a tired voice, I then told him what happened. "what do you want me to do about it?" he asked, looking at me with tired eyes, "um I-I was wondering if I could sleep with you tonight?" I asked. he smiled then lifted up the blanket as a sign that I could, I got under his blanket and cuddled up to him...
I woke up in the morning to a loud bark, I quickly shook Herobrine awake. he sat up and looked at the wolf that was in the room. once he looked at me - who was hugging him to death - "Hunter quiet!" he shouted, then began hugging me and trying to calm me down, after a little while I stopped hugging him and asked about the wolf. "well this is Hunter he's my baby wolf, Kira must have let him in not knowing you were in here, she lets him in every morning to wake me up, he must have started barking because he doesn't know who you are" Herobrine spoke softly. "oh ok, can I pet him?" I asked. "sure" Herobrine replied. I put my hand out, and pet the little wolf pup, he jumped on the bed and cuddled me. "Knock Knock" "come in" Herobrine said. Kira came in and looked at Herobrine then at me. "oh Steve your in here, I thought you were missing, oh sorry, if I had known you were in here I wouldn't of let Hunter in" she said. "its ok" I replied. she looked at the ground and spoke. "the other monsters and I have to leave for a week to go and get some supplies". "oh ok" I said a little sad. she ran over and hugged me tight, and I hugged back. she broke the hug and hugged Herobrine. "be good, Hero" she joked. she went to the door and opened it, all the other monsters came in and hugged me tight all saying their goodbyes, I just smiled and hugged back. then they left, it was just me and Herobrine... later we both ate and went to the library, Herobrine was reading a book, when I asked. "can I go to the overworld again?" he signaled for me to come over to him. I walked over to him, I was a little scared because I didn't know what he wanted. "you don't need to be scared, Stevie" he said with a smile and patted his knee witch I figured meant he wanted me to sit on his lap, I sat on his lap and then asked again. "can I please go to the overworld?". "no" he replied. I looked at him surprised and asked. "why? you already know I won't escape". he looked at me and said. "it's raining pretty hard in the overworld, that's why". he saw how sad I was so he picked me up and teleported us to the overworld, and he was right it was raining pretty hard, then I noticed he had his big cape with the hood on, on himself that was wrapped around me too since he was holding me like a baby, I had my arms wrapped around his neck and my legs around his waist, God he was so strong and he was warm to. he then teleported back to his mansion in the kitchen, and asked. "what would you like to do ~Stevie~?". "hmm, I don't know, what is there to do here in the nether?" I asked back. "Knock Knock" Herobrine and I heard a knock at the door and went to answer it. Herobrine answered it and it was Notch, Notch saw me and said. "Herobrine let Steve go he doesn't have to be here if he doesn't want to" Herobrine turned to me. "where do you want to be Steve?" he asked. I thought for a moment, then said. "I want to be here. with you" he looked shocked at my answer, then turned to Notch, Notch looked just as shocked as Herobrine did, but then said. "ok I will leave you too to whatever you were doing" then he teleported away. Herobrine shut the door and turned to me and asked. "why?". "hm?" I asked back. "why didn't you go with Notch?" he clarified. "I like it here" I replied with a small grin on my face.
Herobrine's P.O.V.
When Steve said he wanted to stay with me I was shocked but happy, later we were in the kitchen making vanilla cake, Steve's favorite. after it was done we ate it the went to bed, not long after I felt a tap on my shoulder, I rolled over and saw Steve. I read his mind and he was too scared to sleep by himself again, I lifted the blanket up and he cuddled up to me like he did last night.
