My Dear ○V x Reader FF○

Chapter Two

"L/N Y/N! Where were you last night? I heard the book cafe got shot up... but still that's no excuse for missing out on karaoke!" My friend, Jungkook, says as I take a seat next to him in class.

Oh shit... I forgot I promised him that I would go and sing karaoke with him last night after my shift.

Ignoring his remark, I say sarcastically, "Woah you actually showed up to school today? I could die of shock right now." 

Jungkook sneers back at me in response, "Haha, so funny. Anyways will you go to karaoke tonight with me? I'll finally be able to introduce you to my boss-"

With that I quickly interrupt him.

"Hold up, you never told me your BOSS was going to be there." I say, glaring at Jungkoook; I don't really care for his boss. He put Jungkook underneath a contract to where he won't be able to leave his job for 10 YEARS, and when I wrote an angry email to him about it  he put my email on a spam list so now all I get is spam mail about renewing my car's warranty. 

It sucks

"I'm sorry but I'm trying to clear up the confusion, if you were to actually meet him-" Jungkook says earnestly until I interrupt him once again "Which I won't be, but go on."  

He rolls his eyes and continues. 

"As I was saying before you so rudely interrupted me, if you were to actually meet him you would see he isn't such the bad guy;  he has helped me out of a lot of situations and I would give my life to him if it came down to it. Just give him a chance, please. At least for me?" 

Sighing, I stare at him; what is up with his infatuation with me meeting his boss? I remember all the times when we were in high school and he would be pulled away out of class to go do something for this said "boss". He risked Jungkook's education and therefore he isn't my most favorite person in the world. 

But seeing Jungkook's pleading face is also saying that I should try giving him a chance.

Giving in I roll my eyes and look out the classroom window and mutter, "Fine, I guess I'll come, but if I swear if he does one thing wrong-" 

"OMG YAY THANK YOU SO MUCH Y/N YOU WON'T REGRET THIS!!"Jungkook squeals, interrupting me and tackling me into a bear hug. 

I shrug him off and glare at him, "If you continue to do that I won't go." 

Quickly he lets go of me and smiles apologetically at me, "I'm sorry I'm just so excited!"

I soften a little at his cuteness... maybe his boss really isn't that bad if Jungkook is so proud to show him off. 

"What time do you want me to meet you?" I ask, trying to move past his ever present bunny smile.

"I'll pick you up, does 8:30 work for you?" Jungkook asks, his smile growing even more. 

I nod, "Yeah sounds good to me." 

Clapping his hands excitedly he beams fully from ear to ear, "Yay! Oh, by the way wear something  nice, boss has been wanting to meet you for a while."

Uh.... what now??
