Prescott Bush won the 1952 election with 95 electoral votes against George R. Breckenridge, who received 53. Prescott made Thomas Dewey, a senator from Gugu State, his Vice President. Bush was inaugurated on January 1st, 1953. His first act as President was the Affordable Education and Care Act, which was signed in February by Federalgress. He intended to make education and healthcare easily accessible, lowering taxes, and making personal physicians less expensive, although his decision received widespread criticism for being “too aligned with communism”, despite Bush being a member of the National Party.
