I checked my watch for what had to be the hundredth time.

Harry had told me his train got in at 4, and it was now nearing half the hour.

The sky had darkened from a light blue to almost black, clouds threatening to spill their contents on the city.

If he wasn't here soon, I'd surely get soaked.

Another half hour passed, and the heavens opened.

I was shivering uncontrollably; my thin shirt and jeans provided no protection from the rain.

I wrapped my arms around myself, willing some sort of warmth to spread through my body.

It was to no avail however; I was freezing to the core.

I didn't want to abandon him, he'd only been back from tour a few days and I appreciated him catching the train to come see me.

"Love?"

The familiar voice broke me out of my thoughts.

Harry was rushing up the stairs, a frown ruining his soft features.

His green eyes were clouded with worry, making them a darker, almost forest, green.

"You waited in the rain for me?"

"Of course I did. I wouldn't abandon you."

He smiled at my words.

"You always stick with things. Persistent and stubborn, just like I left you four months ago."

I rolled my eyes but I couldn't help the smile that broke onto my face.

"I missed you."

He took a step forward and wrapped his arms tightly around my shivering body.

I could feel the warmth radiating off him and I sighed happily.

The moment was short lived, as not even seconds later my feet were off the ground and I was being spun around.

I screamed, clutching tightly onto Harry's body.

"What are you doing, you idiot?"

"Live a little!"

After being spun around for a minute, Harry put me down and proceeded to run around.

I grabbed my head, trying to steady myself.

Harry looked like a little kid, running around and splashing through puddles.

He looked stupid, but that didn't stop me from joining him.

We ran around for a good fifteen minutes, and by the time we stopped, we were both shivering.

Harry smirked, openly looking me up and down.

"Now we're both soaked."

"No shit, Sherlock."

He laughed, pulling me into his body again; expect this time he offered me no warmth.

"I really missed you while I was gone. Tour is great, but being home with you is better."

I blushed as Harry's words, moving my eyes to my now brown shoes.

He took my chin in his fingers, bringing my gaze back to his eyes.

"I love you."

He pressed his lips against mine, and I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling his body closer to mine.

We pulled away, both a little breathless.

"I love you too. Now let's get inside before we die from hypothermia."
