Chapter 2 - Power

Right after we have zhongli in our party i started to realize my team is filled with husbandos and confuse myself on where is the ladies on this team but it doesn't matter now. we'll have to get a fatui harbinger in our team for easy access with tsaritsa... 

"hey lumine, you okay?" i woke up in a boat being awoken to kazuha. it's been 2 months already and we already reached inazuma... things were happening so fast i didn't realize i'm in inazuma already. Kaeya had to leave the team for now while diluc is fine staying with me but i decided to bring more party from inazuma soon... and possibly having an army of my own to match the abyss princess.

ritou huh, it's been awhile since the last time i've been here. beidou is talking with thoma while diluc and zhongli are still getting our bags out. seem like we'll be staying in inazuma for awhile until that traveller leaves inazuma. i had no patience left, i know that the shogun is out there taking away visions again... maybe... if i intervene early, i can change the story? "thoma." i called out his name and he looked at me funny "uh.. yeah?" 

"...let's go meet the shogun" and everyone in ritou except for diluc and zhongli is looking at me. "wh- why?" thoma looks like he has alot of questions by now, "save the question after i defeat the shogun. let's get moving" thoma tries to stop me for doing so. "are you crazy? no one survives after fighting the shogun" "well i have, now move" then i simply walk off from here and despite the fact there were guards stopping me from going somewhere else besides ritou... i killed them within 30 seconds.

"lumine wait!" diluc, zhongli, thoma and surprisingly kazuha and beidou caught up to me. i simply ignore what they're gonna say, because i can feel the traveller is proceeding fast. thoma, kazuha and beidou gave up and decided to follow my lead instead... that's what i like to hear.

inazuma city, i decided to pile up on some food but everyone splited up to gather materials that i asked for and i only have 24 hours before that traveler fights with ei. it's best not to meet up with that traveller or else i'll engage a battle with him since he knows her sister is apart of the abyss now... or does he?

12 hours later... the middle of the night.

everyone is asleep... except for kazuha and myself, it seems as if he wants to talk to me cause he's just sitting down with tea on his hand. "are you very sure to do this? you do realize what fate there is fighting her." he calmly took a sip from his tea. "i've done this before kazuha, there's no need to be worried about me." he looks at me unpleased, he doesn't seem happy about what's going to happen soon. i'm assuming that raiden, the puppet won't be sleeping anytime soon so i can just challenge her anytime... i'll have to take a visit to miko first.

the shrine, an hour later

"yae?" i called out her name it echos through the mountains. yae showed up behind the trees with her arms crossed. "i was just enjoying the view. do you need me?" appears like she hasn't slept yet, though it doesn't seem like she wants to sleep anytime soon. "give me the gnosis" i didn't hesitate but she wonders and ask me "excuse me? you mean the chess piece? i'm sorry i can't give it to you" "it wasn't a question" i pulled out my aquila favonia as quickly as possible and start running towards at yae miko.

i attempted to slash her but she blocked at an electro barrier so i had to back up. for the past months i'd realize that my powers isn't working like it used to... i can only use 5% of its power for now because if i use my power now i'll end up passing out. in short? i'm not ready to use cosmic powers yet meaning i'll have to rely on physical attacks for now

i switched my sword to the claymore. i keep swinging my claymore at yae to the point i'm breaking the furnishing aswell. her dodges is really good but i got a few hits on her too then she parried me with another electro barrier then kicks me to the wall. "seems like you're desperate for a simple chess piece..." she seems tired but i got up and took a stance with the wolf's gravestone

"well then... perish" she took out a book and she made a small circle with her finger... then a giant laser came out from the circle shooting at me but i blocked it with the claymore, i even managed to block my whole body with it. i switched weapons and coming at her to stab her

she gave me a couple of electro damage onto me but that's fine

*stab*

the sound of my sword thrusting to her body never the same ever since i had to do this with dain... "i'm sorry..." i whispered to her ear knowing she'll die. but i have to end her properly... i used 4% of my cosmic powers to the sword expanding it with energy... ending her life too.

i pull away my sword and clean away the blood and start searching for the gnosis she could have hidden, it could be anywhere. i checked if she had it inside her body but it wouldn't let me phase through so i'm assuming it would be around here somewhere.

i couldn't find it near the shrine so i leaned back to the sacred tree to relax for abit. but then i heard something... sounds like lightning charging up inside the tree... i stand up and reach out to the tree slowly.

*tap*

nothing... damn it... my hand is still on the tree waiting for something to happen... until my hand sinks into the tree and i felt a chess piece, i'm guessing that's the gnosis. i'm taking it for power.

then i can feel the electro sourcing around me, i looked to my hand and i can see the electricity through it... i shoot a lightning bolt to one of the shrine and it worked. heh then i'm ready.
