Falling for a star//Falliam/Adaliz

3- the first chapter

maybe the word forever, was meant for memories, not people...
For Liam Ridley this was a lesson soon to be learnt. 

Liam Ridley was a wealthy, semi successful author living in Atlanta, after escaping from the craziness of his family in New York. The Vankirks of New York.

As he blindly strolled along the busy streets of Georgia, the night sky came over him and the streets were filled with nothing but dark. People started to become more scarce and the busy streets soon turned dull with not another person in sight.

Whilst nearing the end of his walk Liam Ridley came upon a courthouse and quickly realised there was a girl sat outside of it. She was very beautiful, maybe 5'6 with caramel brown hair and the most piercing blue eyes. Liam had been misled to the idea that nobody wondered the streets of Atlanta past 11pm and seeing a girl so seemingly weak alone at this time of night surprised him slightly.

Upon approaching the young girl Liam quickly noticed she seemed to be upset but that wasn't what caught his attention. He quickly recognised the girl from many news articles including scandals and major PR deals.

She was a part of  one of the biggest families in America. Carrington. Fallon Carrington. She seemed much more beautiful in real time and seemed a lot less ruthless than the media had made her out to be. As she sat alone on a bench in the dark until the young man approached her.

He quickly tried to lighten the mood by joking with her about a photo, before quickly realising this was not the time or place and handing her a handkerchief to dry her tears.

After sitting and talking with the girl she came out with something fairly surreal and very unexpected. She asked the man if he was in the market. Being from New York Liam was pretty certain he knew what that meant, but had to check, just to be certain.

"For what?" He asked
"The biggest payday of your life"

*slam*

Adam quickly shut his laptop as he was pretty confident in where the story was going. All he had to do was make Liz Fall in love with him to see how someone acts when in love, write about it and then both of them can return to their regularly scheduled programming.

Just then he got a text

Hey it's Liz :)
My family is cooking dinner tomorrow and I was thinking you could come meet them. I also don't wanna have to sit with my dad and Michael with no topic of conversation so I'm kinda desperate :/ it starts at 6

Hey, I'll be there!! See you tomorrow. Looking forward to it ;)

Adam smiled down at his phone as he sent the text...this could be exactly what he needed...
