I turn 14 in 2 days and am really excited. last night I went and saw insurgent, a great movie, and today I got to go turkey hunting with my dad. we heard some gobbles but haven't seen any thing yet.
We went too a mini drugstore so we Gould get batteries and my dad could get coffee. but then we headed back to where our blind is.

When we got back we only had to wait 30 minutes before two long beards came strutting in and we called for them and even threw our jake decoy to the ground when the weren't looking but eventually after 2 hours they both left so my dad and I packed up.
After we packed up the car we drove over to the Williams ,an older couple that owns a ranch I'm aloud to hunt on, and saw a turkey in they're back yard, we creeped up thinking it was a Tom but when it turned we saw it was a hen.
We then went and sat down for a conversation with the William's

I went home after that and took an hour long nap because I'd woken up so early. when I woke up i ate a snack and watched some tv.
I basically had a quiet night after that and just watched little house on the prairie some more.
