Y/N waited for everyone at the entrance of the house dressed in a different outfit than the normal uniform. She had a smile on her face and her e/c eyes were sparkling. She held a briefcase and wore a little top hat, making her look adorable even though she's 14. Her h/l, h/c hair was pulled h/s, a bit different but more fancier than her normal hairstyle.

Kids entered and spotted Y/N at the entrance, Isabella standing behind her with a bittersweet smile on. They all came running over and wailing, begging Y/N not to leave. They grabbed onto her skirt, tried pulling her back to the rooms, but nothing worked. Y/N was bigger and stronger than they were.

"I'm sorry everyone. But don't worry! You'll all get families soon too!" Y/N said, smiling. Then she spotted her three best friends enter the room, Emma, Ray, and Norman. She ran towards them after all the kids let her go. "Bye bye guys!" She said happily. "Promise you won't forget us?" Norman asked. "Yeah!" "Promise to write letters?" Emma asked. "Mm-hmm!" "Promise to survive?"

Everyone stared at Ray. "What?" Little did 14 year old Y/N know that his words had a deeper meaning and she might not survive her adoption. "Of course, I will. Why wouldn't I?" Y/N asked, with a happy but confused face on. Ray shrugged. She walked over and hugged him after Emma finally let go. "Don't be a moron, okay Ray?" Y/N said, letting go. Ray looked offended for a second before smiling a small smile and nodding.

"Since this is your last day, you only get this day as a free pass to call me a moron." He said. "But you should worry more about these two being morons. Especially this one." He added, whispering the last part and pointing at Emma with a smirk. The two began fighting and after a minute of Norman and
Y/N trying to stop them, they gave up and turned to each other.

"Promise to write, remember, and experience the real world enough for all of us?" Norman asked.
Y/N set down her briefcase and took his hands in hers causing a small blush to creep onto Norman's face, but Y/N not really paying attention, just continued talking. "Of course, silly! If you promise to take care of those two!" She whispered the last part and Norman smiled.

"Y-Yeah, of course." He said, looking down. Y/N grabbed his face. "I'll miss you!" She said and let go. She grabbed the other two and hugged all three of them. "I'll miss you all!" She said before letting go and grabbing her briefcase and running back to the front.

"Bye, everyone!" She said turning around and waving. She deadpanned when she spotted Emma crying. "Emma...seriously?" Ray budged her. "You'll make her feel bad!" Norman added. "Anyways, goodbye everyone! I'll do my best to write letters and I'll never forget any of you! I'll collect and do and eat as much as possible! Enough for everybody!" Y/N said, waving.

Everyone smiled and Emma just cried harder. How could she not? Their light of their lives were leaving! I'll have to take over her job as happiest person alive then! Not that I could ever replace Y/N... Even Mama says she's the happiest kid we've ever had at Grace Field for a long time. But I will do my best! She thought to herself, sniffing, nodding, and looking up and waving one last time.

"Goodbye everyone! Don't forget me and I won't forget you!" She said, before Isabella put her hands on Y/N's shoulders. "Come on, Y/N." She grabbed the lantern and opened the door, letting Y/N go first. She then followed her outside and began leading Y/N to the gate, humming a tune. "Mom, what's that you're singing?" She asked. "A childhood song." She said as they reached the gate.

Y/N then spotted a vehicle in the space area and figurative sparkles appeared in her eyes and all around her. "Mom, is this the vehicle? The vehicle that will take me to my new home?" Y/N asked enthusiastically. Isabella walked over to a pair of side doors. She smiled before beginning to speak.
