Recap:
Just as I thought, everything will be much better now...
"Babe! Everybody was looking for yoh everywhere! Where have you been?"
A hawt girl, 4'7 dem long legs, wavy hair, skinny jeans and leather jacket.
She seems to be very close to Everett, and by how she talks to him, I bet she's his girlfriend.
"Who is she?" She asked, after noticing my presence. "Mind if you introduce her to me?" She smiled and looked into Everett's eyes.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Nope. This is not happening.
Everett looked confused. Or rather annoyed. Don't quite understand what that look's for. He tried to remove himself from her engulfment.
"Shereen, why are you here? Don't you have a shoot or something?" Everett asked, in a very weird tone. Not the tone that some guy would use on her girlfriend. "Poppy, this is Shereen. Shereen Jones, a model and a dancer."
From the moment I saw her, I recognised her. Though, I didn't have the chance to speak a single word as I was in a starstruck. She looked so perfect. That super fine and fit body. Not forgetting the super hot look on her face. My jaw dropped the moment I saw her.
"Hi, I'm Poppy... Poppy Deyes. I'm your fan!" I kinda blurted out my thoughts. It was getting really embarrassing now. At the same time, starring at her S-line body, no girl couldn't envy her sexy body.
She laughed at my statement. Her phone beeped and she instantly fished for her phone from her Louis Vuitton bag and checked her message. Everett went over and had a look at it, "S, this is not going to happen, I'm not going to let you do this." Shereen however didn't care much about what he said and gave him a huge smirk.
Can anyone tell me what's happening with both of them? Are they friends or more than friends? And why is she here?
"So, Poppy? Am I right?" She asked, currently facing at me. I nodded, to prevent myself from blurting idiotic thoughts or make the day worse. "Can you tell me more about yourself? Like, what do you like? Do you dance? Or anything." She was giving me a smile. Most probably just being nice.
"Hmm... I do dance. I do contemporary," I said, giving a quick smile hoping that she would have the same hobby as mine.
"Awesome! You know what? I currently have a photo shoot and it needs a contemporary dancer. Do you wanna tag along?" She was so excited, clapping her hands and giving me a puppy look so that I would follow her.
Everett shot her a deadly glare. But she didn't give a damn about Everett as if he was invisible. "I would love to but..." I was about to reject her but she cut me off before I could state or remind her that I'm still in a camp.
"No buts! Life's not about buts! Let's go!" She grabbed my hand with all her might and dragged me to the entrance of the community center and exited. Everything was happening too fast for me to actually understand them and react wisely.
The next thing I know is that I was now currently in a taxi going for a photo shoot.
I was quite tired, although I just woke up from a nap. I felt more outgoing now after spilling my heart out to Everett. It was like, finally, someone would hear me. He wasn't like the others, he was kind and sweet and cute... Right, I had to know more about him.
"Shereen, are you Everett's girlfriend?" I asked, without much thinking from my mind.
She laughed, and laughed and laughed like it was the funniest joke ever in the universe. Not quite sure why that was even funny.
"For goodness sake, P. He's my cousin, We grew up together. His father is very close to my family and that is how I got the chance to debut in this industry. Don't worry, my dear, you can have him." She continued laughing until we reach a skyscraper with a banner hanging across it.
H&M FASHION WEEK.
Before I could even freak out and run away, Shereen pulled me out of the car and dragged me to the entrance of the building. Gold, Chandeliers, Suit&Tie. I stopped, looked up at the beautiful crystal chandelier. I had never seen such detailed chandelier, I started to wonder how much it was and where exactly this place was and I blanked out for a moment.
"HEEEY! We are going to be late!" A sudden shout from a familiar voice and it startled me back to reality. Shereen looked very concerned and asked me to be faster with an annoyed face. She led me into a lift and pressed the 'R' button that indicated the rooftop.
But what really surprised me was when the door of the lift opened. The amazing platform for the dancer to shoot. Not to mention, the A-list dancers, Channing Tatum, Sylvie Guillem and Brittany Cherry!
Sheeren gave me an annoyed look again and sighed before asking for the director of the shoot. Then she sent me off to a makeup artist to get me prepared. "Poppy? Oh my, you're more gorgeous than I thought." A white guy, 7 feet tall, standing in front of me said in a weird, girly way. "Oh right, come with me!" She, wait, he led me to a small space separated into two, male and female. It was a little space for the dancers to get ready for the shoot. In there, there were many amazing dancers, not just a few, all getting ready with their makeups, costumes and accessories all from H&M.
While we were still preparing, Blair Dayes started a little gossip with the other dancers. Yes, she was the most popular female ballerina currently. With her debut piece, Phantom of the Opera. She was very pretty, skinny but in a good way and I couldn't doubt her ballet skills. She was a professional dancer after all. But, she was very well-known for her arrogance. Rumour had it that she was as arrogant as a b*tch. She once had a cat fight with one of cast of Phantom of the Opera.
I didn't know what I did to have most of the dancers looking at me suspiciously. I hadn't been speaking a word since I came here. I didn't even dare speak to my makeup artist. How am I even gonna speak and do something without Shereen around?! And so, I ignored all the glares from them and just let the artist do 'her' work. He chose a gold glitter leotard with tulle, and it was absolutely beautiful! Then he whispered to me saying "You're welcome," and winked at me. I gave him a quick and appreciative smile, thinking how lucky I was to have such nice people around me.
Suddenly, the director came in and said " Good afternoon, girls! Okay, now I am going to pair up all of you with the guys, so listen up! Maddie, you're with Adam..." and he continued with a whole bunch of names and then it came to me. " And Poppy, you're up with Channing Tatum." He smirked at me and all the other girls, especially Blair, glared at me. Oh no...
It's a brand new experience. Maybe this wasn't meant for wallflowers like me but, oh well, it's fate---------------------------------
