I checked the time on my wrist watch.
3:49PM. I still have time for a nap, right?
"Ms. Mae?" I approached my secretary.
"Yes ma'am?"
"I just finished reading, signing, and approving all the files and papers you sent me earlier. I'll just take a nap for 30 minutes. If I'm still not awake until 4:30PM, could you wake me up please?" I smiled.
"Sure Ma'am. Matulog lang ho kayo, you've been very busy these past few days din. Sabagay, napakaganda mo nga naman masyado para kailanganin yung beauty rest." we laughed.
"Wala akong barya Mae."
"No worries ma'am. Tumatanggap naman po ako ng cheque." we laughed again. "Oh sya Ma'am Zaarah, matulog na po kayo." She smiled genuinely then went outside.
I fixed my desk first before standing up and went inside my private room. I didn't locked the door since I told Mae to wake me up.
I've been very busy lately dahil sa pagkamatay ng lolo nina Ghouhld and Garnet. They were literally broken and as one of their friends, I was there for moral, physical, and emotional support.
I removed my stilettos and unbuttoned the first two buttons of my top before jumping into my bed.
Ah...finally my box.
.I was standing in the hallway infront of the registrar's office to get my schedule with a very fast palpitation. I was really not used to meeting other people since then.
I am finally going to a university after a fifteen-year homeschooling.
Tumunog bigla yung outside speaker. "Miss Zaarah Shin Ae?" That would totally be my cue.
I knocked the door thrice first before opening it as I gently peaked and went inside.
"Good day ma'am. This is Zaarah Ae." I politely said.
"Oh, what a lovely day for a lovely girl. Are you new here?" She asked.
I smiled as I answered. "Yes ma'am."
"Oookayy. A transferee then."
"I'm also not a transferee ma'am."
"So what are you then?"
Probably a seahorse, I guess?
"This is actually my first time going to a university ma'am. I've been homeschool since the first time I held a pencil."
"Oh, that's kinda lonely. So anyways." She said as she picked up the piece of paper placed on top of her desk and handed it to me. "This would be your schedule through the whole semester. And at the back of that, written, are the school's rules and regulations. Please do read those."
"Sure ma'am. Thank you. I'll be going now."
"Have a good day Miss Ae." I smiled at her as I went outside the office.
I immediately checked my sched as I was walking down the hallway.
First classes would be in 47 minutes.
It probably took me 20 minutes before I found my classroom. There were now a couple students inside. Just enough to make me choose the seat I want.
I walked pass at them silently while ignoring their stares.
